Frustating amounts of conservation points for animals in trade center

Are there ONLY animals from other players in franchise mode?
I mean.. the first animals needed to come from somewhere...

Because the prices people are putting into it for their animals.. its ridiculous...

I have a small zoo, just started and wanted to contribute to the community challenge...
but the gorillas cost between 4-10k of CP

Would love to contribute to our goals as a whole community, but its just not possible like this

there are other animals you can buy cheaply. then put up a breeding factory and generate millions of CC in a few days. then they become worthless. thats the game the devs want us to play.

A small zoo shouldn't have Gorillas. They are expensive for a reason.
I like the challenge. I started off with flamingoes, warthogs and managed to score some cheap red pandas. After growing my zoo I now have an entire breeding herd of Asian elephants, orangutans, chimps and Bengal tigers. It gets easier to accumulate CC with time. You will afford it eventually. Keep watching for cheap ones to show up. I filter what animal I want and frequently check the trade centre for a good one at a good price. The prices fluctuate.

Perhaps its because I started with career mode and saw the prices there.. but 10.000 for a single gorilla seems insane to me to be honest
and all are male.... so even if i could afford 2, i couldnt get a breeding pair at the moment

I just think there should be player animals AND generated animals... it must have been so at the start anyway
But by now, I only see player animals

Are you sorting them by price? I found a full page of males/females between 1,000-2,000 credits.

I just opened my game and got 1 male and 2 female gorillas (Good genetics) for less than 4k combined. The market is flooded with gorillas, which is obviously the desired result having these community challenges. I'd say be patient and check your search filters. They will get cheaper as the challenge progresses and you will be able to get one.

I only had one page last time I looked...
And I just sorted after the species, nothing more, so normally all pages should show....
So it's strange that I only see one page of animals of the market is flooded like Skylala says

The market is a bit buggy atm but filter it by price and it will give you the cheapest one's available and should throw those 10k Gorilla's to the end. Make sure you hit the refresh button too. 😅

Because they're community challenge animals atm they're literally going within 2 seconds of being uploaded. I don't think people are even checking the stats to see if they can even breed they're just buying them because they're cheap which I guess is understandable considering the overpriced issue. 😕

Like someone else has said already, keep refreshing the market. Frontier put some up every so often. I managed to get two females and a male for around 500 each.

Use the filters Luke..

Even if the market was working perfectly (which it isn't) the real power comes from filters. You can filter the list by min and max desired price for example. You can filter by exact genetics if desired. Etc. Right now these are even MORE important due to bugs with the market.

That said, this is a player driven market so there will be crap listings but there is wheat among chaff, you just need to dig a bit and have some patience. Additionally there is a "Frontier Zoo" which randomly puts stuff out. Though I wouldn't be surprised to heart some player has also used the same name for their zoo to try and trick people, so don't just blindly grab animals from Frontier Zoo. Check the genetics first.

Animals will also show up for cash on occasion, though I don't know if this is true for all species or just lower tier ones. When they do show up though they tend to be sold fast.

Yes, like mentioned before me use the filters. A lot of times if you click the hour filter it'll show you animals that have been just put up and often times it's good deals. I use that one a lot.
