Ability to transfer cargo betwixt your ships in the same station.

Would be really useful to be able to go out mining, then just RTB and transfer all your booty over to your large transport ship for transporting to market. I don't want to be sat around refitting my ship from a defenceless miner to an armoured transport each and every time I want to dump all my mined materials onto the market. Hell, now I think about it, how about a ship loadout page where you can save multiple loadouts and switch betwixt them with a single click?

You can already do that, just switch ships. If the ship you are switching to has the same/more cargo capacity of the ship you are in, all the cargo is automatically transferred when you switch ships.

But you can't refit the stored ship before switching.
To the OP: I believe FD wants to prevent users from storing commodities in the stored ships. I'd certainly abuse that if it was available.

I use two Pythons with the same build. Everything the same. But the hard Point are switch to weapons and Refinery which switches to Fuelscoop and the Prospector and Collectors are reinforcement on the combat Build. Cargo space and such hull

Personally, I think the more transient stops one does with a ship loaded with valuable cargo, the more danger you are putting yourself in. The only time a ship is in real danger is when you are in SC. Even normal space is quite safe as you are traditionally close enough to the station to get to safety. So taking a detour just to change ships is, in my opinion, dramatically increasing your chance of interdiction and therefore losing your cargo.

I do generally agree with you. Where I mine Void Opal has a 2 or stations one Large one small.

That's why I stop first in a station in a nearby system which is close to its main star to swap a a couple of limpet controllers for a Guardian Frame Shift Drive Booster and a Fuel Scoop. I already plan a route there when I arrive in the mining system in case I have to high wake out.
After I sold the commodities for a good price and head back to mining I stop at that station to swap back. I find this is well worth it, since prices you can sell at vary greatly with radius.
The single extra stop before and after each mining session allows me to do the rest in fewer jumps and without refuelling.

I have often dreamed of an Elite companion app for the phone or tablet that would allow you to remotely outfit ships. Obvious limitations would be that the CMDR is limited to the modules for sale at the station they are docked in.

Hopefully with fleet carriers w will see some fleet management improvements
