Every time someone makes a thread asking where the Midnight Black/Black Friday liveries are, a random skin from the collection is cancelled this year.

The one ship exempt from this cancellation policy is the Cobra Mk IV.

So far the community has already lost a few of these highly sought after skins.

Stay in school and don't do Onionhead kids. Stick to selling it.

Ironically enough, to have access to the Cobra Mk IV, players had to have prepurchased horizons before beta, that purchase made them eligible for the original black friday paintjobs, for free, when they was first released in 2015. This means it would be a deliciously devious metatrolling move if FDev did indeed allow only the Cobra Mk IV black paintjob to make it into the store this year.

Hang on, I have the Cobra MKIV, but never received the original Black Friday skins. Was this for PC only or was I meant to do something to receive the skins?

Edit: Disregard, It was PC only or so I found out.

Yes. The free Midnight bundle only applies to PC Horizons launch.

So, you're saying if we make 30-odd threads about Black paintjobs they won't be available for any ship at all this year?

Legs aren't happening for the same reason.

But we lost legs after this game turned one week old.

Didn't take long to saw off all the different leg bits as punishment.
