No combat, but have some Arx for it anyways..

So I was just logging back in after an odd crash and noticed that I got 17 Arx in my last session, most of which was for 'trade' and 'exploration' which makes sense. What makes no sense is the 1 point I got for 'combat', because I didn't even deploy my weapons.. Anyone else seen this? Or anything similar?

Ive done nothing but solid combat in a single explored system, then got..

1 Combat.
16 Exploration.
7 Other...

Conculsion.... ARX are RNG.

I don't do trade or combat, but i've had this once before.I think it was for surviving a planetary impact.

Did you fight off an interdiction? Where you at some point in a "danger situation" (ie where you'd get the timer when trying to log off)?

Logging back in after an odd crash requires willpower, and so is a fight.

No interdiction, it was an empty system. I was charging the drive prior to a jump to the next system, instead of a jump, I got a crash.

Perhaps some other activity is being folded into the "combat" bin. Exploring USS or something, I'm not sure what you were doing.

Well, that's just the queue, that is. CQC's line-of-sight radar is great, I wish we had that all the time so fighting in an asteroid belt was a bit sneakier.

My biggest single load of ARX (outside of selling Exploration Data) came from a larger Mining run.

For selling, 2 consecutive Stations had obsolete prices, so the 3rd one had to do the trick. Maybe 20 or so jumps in a Trade Python. Scooped up 4 HGEs of opportunity enroute.

The Session Screen read like this :
Mining - 2 ARX
Exploration - 52 ARX
Other - 4 ARX

Let's just say the System often seems.... weird.
