Is this stable enough to play now

Forgive me, but your issue tracker is back logged. I've put in tickets several weeks ago that haven't been touched.

If your issue is that you cannot play the game, do you think someone wants to put in an issue tracker and wait a month before it's even looked at?

Hey Indiglow. That's simply not the case. Devs don't respond to every issue, as they may already have the information they need to work on the issue and fix it in a future update. They also prioritise issues on how many people report the same issue, or how long the issue takes to resolve (some issues will take a while to work on them, as they may impact other areas of the game). The purpose of people using the Issue Tracker is so that the dev team can actively open a discussion. They may ask you to send them more information on your PC specs or something along those lines. That's not to say reporting elsewhere isn't helpful, it most certainly is, but if you're looking for an actual response, the Issue Tracker is the best place to do it - granted the dev team need to respond. Regardless, the assumption that they're not even looking at issues is false. In our last update we looked at over 400+ issues, something that would never have been possible without the Issue Tracker.

However, please link me to your reports on the Issue Tracker. If there's anything I can do, please let me help!

Thanks for the quick reply. I'd be happy to link my issues. These are issues that are still a problem and have been reported repeatedly but are still in "confirmation" status. A big one to me is how advertising that peafowls animation for the feathers spreading is false. None of them do that.

That's just 2 to get started. Both still in confirming status for weeks.

I also want to submit tickets about how food courts do not work and guests only "see" picnic tables that are a tile away from the actual food shop but I doubt it will ever be looked at based on the two tickets above being extremely simple bugs that can be looked at.

Thanks Indiglow! Please do continue to submit tickets, as I said, the dev team do read the Issue Tracker reports. I've passed them along, but I'd like to highlight that some issues are based on the specs you have. This is why it's imperative you file reports, or contribute to other reports, as that's how the dev team know it can be reproduced on a system they may not be using in-house, and they can work on getting the specs created, reproducing the issue, and resolving it. Please do not undermine how much work goes into fixing individual issues by claiming they are 'extremely simple bugs'. I can assure you the team are looking into as many issues as they can and working on fixes constantly - we want people to all enjoy the game we've spent years creating! Thanks for your support so far, and I hope to have good news for you on these issues soon!

my game never crashes but i do get the regular 'cannot connect to franchise server' pop up every 10 mins or so.

Do you have a firewall or antivirus running at all? Some overzealous programs might be blocking Planet Zoo's access to the internet. We've found some players have been able to resolve this by disabling their firewall/anti-virus, ensuring that Planet Zoo is listed as an exception to any blocking rules or by updating the programs.

Thanks Paul that is a good suggestion. I do indeed have AVG running all the time. I'll look into this and see if it fixes it.

There is a bug which causes saved game file to be unusable (for my zoo, I have a save which loads but any saves I make from that load point are corrupted and will not load). Until this is fixed, this game is not worth spending any time on.

Are these new games? Or games started before the last patch? As far as I was aware this issue only effect some older saves (none of mine were effected)

The zoo is old. The saved games are from after the last patch. If I can open a save, and play and make a new save, and that save does not load, I think it is not fixed.

From the stories on different forums, it happened a lot with zoo built before the last patch.. Even before patch 1.02 quite a few people had the crash or other bug

I had a something similar experience in the 2nd week. I moved a habitat gate when the animals were still present in the habitat. Luckily my save was right before I changed this, so after a few tries of moving the gate.. I stopped and didn't change it, the crashes also stopped..

I'm convinced if I saved it (or autosave) after moving the gate, I would have similar crashing issues.
