No. They say on Instagram ever and ever again that they have nothing to announce for consoles. A few weeks before I could have sworn it will never happen, but now that Planet Coaster is released on consoles, I'd say: Prepare to wait for three years up.

In xbox exists zoo tycoon, ps4 doesnt have a game like this, excluding jurassick park evolution.The zoo tycoon that came out on xbox is virtually nothing like the original Zoo Tycoon 1 and 2 that came out on PC lol. The interface and gameplay are highly simplified due to the way that tycoon games' menus work. Trying to use an interface designed for a mouse with a ton of keyboard shortcuts is just not a good match for pairing with a controller. Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 and 2 were successfully ported over to the original Xbox, but only worked well because they both used a grid system. Still suffered from having to sometimes use the mouse with the joystick though, and these games are MUCH more intricate. Despite all that, Planet Coaster is coming to console. Despite, I'm sure, how difficult it may be to play (and undoubtedly how hard it must have been to design) they are still managing to make that happen. So... Despite the fact that it might be pretty hard to play, and will take a very very long time to come out, there MAY be hope for Planet Zoo, but I highly doubt it will be any time soon and it might not be at all so don't hold your breathe. If you are exclusively a console player, I'd take a step back if I were you. No reason to have the hype train leave the station if there's a chance it'll run out of track a couple years down the road. If they announce it, you can jump for joy then lol
