Currently, with how bright they are, it hurts to fire huge bursts for more than a few times every minute.
Please at least give us an option to turn it downs.

There is something in options that helps, I forget what I did, it was a while ago.
My issue was the pylons at Guardian sites being far too bright.

Hehe, try beams... At least they are constant while your distro has power so less 'distracting' as no flashing.
(both Red & Blue are 'easier' on the eye than vanilla)

My first guess on a setting to help with this would be "bloom," but if nothing really helps I think it would be good to have an explicit slider for FX brightness.
