Hello Commanders! The festivities we have planned are largely retrospective, looking back over the last five years of Elite Dangerous and the incredible community who have been along for the ride! We will not be revealing any new content during this period.

Not much point in watching it then.

Thank you. After some depressing real world stuff, I'm actually able to enjoy some straightforward space-trucking again. Even went all the long 626,311 ls way down to Celsius Estate, Anduliga in my Type-7 to pick up some fireworks, and tried to leave it on Supercruise Assist while I got ready to go out. I came back just in time to find I'd been interdicted, shields down, hull at 62%. I charged up and high-tailed it out, and decided to remain in the cockpit this time, which was a good decision because I got interdicted again as I approached the outpost.

As many would have already realised, the trip was all for nought, as their landing pads discriminate against my type (as in "7", see what I did there? ), which I obviously didn't bother to check first. But I wasn't even mad. I just turned around, headed for Eranin to stock up on some rare Pearl Whiskey and other potable high demand goods to fill my 256T cargo bay, then hopped the 5 jumps to Reorte to deliver. Will head back later today to help spread some more festive cheer to Davies High.

It’s the forums everybody lies about something at some time if only by omission.

They doubled the rewards on a pair of easy CGs providing a lot of credits for however much effort one wanted to use, no it wasn’t the insane levels of credits you could get by mining but at least you didn’t have to mine for them.
