Anyone an idea what this is about?

As @Urufu1997 kindly pointed out to me - it's to do with either empty habitats/exhibits, or having the wrong info next to a habitat/exhibit. Have a look at your education boards and speakers and see if there's a problem.

I'm guessing if you have zebra and giraffe in there it should do. I'm not having probs with my multi-species habitat boards afaik? I'll have a look tho.
There's an education heat map, it shows when education is not good, not just overlapping, but any that are incorrect species, not set, or vandalized will show up in red (or black, for the last one), you don't have to manually check each one visually.
I guess this is the same as with the educational speakers, your guests are confused about what animal they are looking at I guess when it's placed to close to each other.
Totally understand it that while you are listening to info about a Zebra, and looking at a Giraffe. But this shouldn't be happening with signs IMO.
Signs can be put together, just not with speakers attached.
I have a sign with a speaker next to it and that is not on the list of "wrong placed'
I think it has to do with the distance the sign is from the edge of the enclosure.
Whatever it is, it is a new bug/thing that should not be there.... the sign were working good so why change something to it.
You are correct, signs (and speakers) need to be within a certain distance of the bottom of a habitat barrier. I don't know what the exact distance is, but it's pretty close. I've had it where a speaker on the far side of a path right next to a habitat was considered too far away.
If it's showing as red due to distance there isn't a negative effect. They also do not give the positive education effect though, and that's the whole point of having them there. Education leads to visitors losing happiness more slowly.
yeah and it was working fine before this update..... i get the whole education idea but not this last change.
