Polar bears space needs

Polar bears still need insane amnount og space like i have two of them and they need 7k m² of LAND space and 2250 m² of water... what the heck? It will take half of my zoo to make that habitat for them

Not really. My average habitat for things like wolves ends up being something like 4m². It will be large, but it seems much more workable to me than before.

yes, that is a "standard " sized habitat in my zoos. I would never put my animals in tiny rectangle places just to make every animal fit in one zoo. the requirements for the polar bear are O.K. but still I will give mine an appropriate sized habitat as soon as I open a zoo where they will fit in

It's not ok when you consider the habitat size of other large animals in the game. I've read somewhere the habitat size is still 15 times more than a brown bear!

to me all habitat sizes are too small, I recently made a habitat for the crocodiles, later I checked the requirements and I made it about 4-5 times the size the game says they need and I was thinking at first it might be a bit too tiny
I see the animal and conservation part first, others who struggle obviously see the PC Manegment Game part first

I agree. They need to agree on a standard when deciding what habitat sizes should be. You can't go favoritize an animal and then make others suffer. There are international organizations like the AZA that they can take as reference when setting requirements EQUALLY for all animals.

This pretty much also bothers me, even after the patch.

It seems to me there needs to be a standard in the game, when you have a standalone animal need it makes you question the rest of the roster.

this is absolutely ridiculous.. I won't be surprised if some zoos or organization sue frontier when people complain about their ice bear exhibits.

Holy moly, how tiny is your zoo? :O I dedicated a piece of my zoo to be an arctic area, and the polar bear habitat doesn't even take up half of that, and that habitat is over 20k m2. Are the maps in other modes than sandbox way smaller?

If you think, the Enclosure would be way too big to fit in your Zoo, you could build a big Cave for them where they also could walk on

It fits also perfectly in my Zoo (Temperate Biome, Europe, Franchise-Mode)

all zoos are the same size. no need to be sarcastic. it is obvious how big the ice bear exhibits are. why don't they make all other animals require so much space?
i am even thinking about refunding after this nonsense.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound sarcastic :( It was a genuin question, as I haven't played any other mode than sandbox

Guys, do no take the half of zoo seriouosly 🤦‍♂️ it just too big... and without any trees or plants, its super empty... They should balanced this for other animals.. like elephants, rhinos etc... not only polar bears are wanderers :(
