"Classic" animals that should not be forgotten!

Everyone is sure we'll get animals like polar bears, kangaroos, jaguars and leopards, but there's also some smaller animals that are just as universally recognizable and well-known to so many people. I think they're just as important! Like:

Koalas

Meerkats

Sloths

Bats

Beaver

And platypus!

Some of these might require my large exhibit animals idea, though. And maybe diving animations. Shoutout also to otters, capybara, and penguins! Though I already see those mentioned far more often.

I definitely want the sloth in my zoo, but I wonder how the guests will see them. They are so slow that even plants grow on them
A turtle would beat them by a mile every race.

What makes you say that? The thread you linked to has no more bearing on the subject than this one.

Personally I'd love meerkats. I'm hesitant to ask for aquatic animals like beavers or otters, however, because the game currently has no diving or swimming animations, and it would be a bit disappointing if something as acrobatic as an otter just swam on the surface like the crocodiles and bears do.

Because of a volunteer moderator (who seems to have worked close with Frontier since 2016) actually reacted to this thread, compared the other animal requests that didn't go anywhere.

Volunteer moderators often comment on posts. They're just fans of the game like everyone else.

We, as Volunteer Moderators don't have any information on what animals Frontier will be putting in the game. We are as in the dark as everyone else on the forums. We're fans of the games, as @NZFanatic mentioned

It should be really really obvious that some animals are intentionally held back This can only be to ensure longevity in the game and I am sure these popular animals have not been forgotten, sit tight
