Since 2.02 its felt amazing, almost like a full game, 500 systems, galnet, bulletin boards, trading, combat, exploration, discovery, selling information, new ships, more than one space port per system.

And theres more yet to come!

Anyone that still says this game is boring has got some serious issues!

Bring on the mining and fuel scooping....

Yeah baby :D

Guys - write yourself an IOU from me for a beer at the next Lavecon (please note, if you bring the ENTIRE team, I might have to sell a kidney, but I should be able to manage at least a few jars of ale for whoever is there).

Well done and thank you - I have managed to get 2 hours in today on my day off and it has been only slightly glitchy - to be fair, just as playable as Beta 1 was, just with more content.

Now - where have all my interdictions gone, I'm up for unleashing some righteous bounty hunting on some terrible pirates????

How do I do this ? Plz help talk me thru the process Thx :D

Enter Control Panel> Programs and Features> Find Elite Dangerous> Click Uninstall.

Visit Frontier website, log in and download the client again, install the game and your ready to rock.

Control panel in Win 7 is Start Menu> Control Panel

Windows 8 - move mouse to bottom left hand corner of screen, right click and click Programs and Features.

:D

God I hope they are bringing back beta 1 pitch and roll controls with assist ON. It is a nuisance to scroll my mouse a 3-4 time for one loop or a barrel roll.

You need to go into your control settings screen, and under Mouse controls change "Relative" vs "Absolute". The default was change in Beta 2 and most people want the other. Also you have to explicitly turn-on the "mouse cursor" or whatever they call it. It's a settings issue. Btw the same behavior was in Beta 1, it just wasn't on by default.

What a treat! Awesome work Frontier! A rough diamond it may be, but it's a diamond alright.

Also had endless hyperspace yesterday and couldn't get past the orange Sidewinder a few times, then switched to solo and didn't have a single problem.

Here's hoping that 2.04 brings us some additional MP stability.

Great news Frontier. :) You are doing a great job. Played for a couple of hours tonight and didnt have one crash, just a little lag when exiting SC. Got my ass handed to me in a USS to. An Expert Eagle with 3 Multi cannons turned my ship into space dust. Hehe.

My hat's off to you

Just insane. i barely have time to taste 2.03 and now this!?
I'm ashamed of myself for being a programmer. The time you guys take between releases are insane!!! Tell me, how many developers are there working!?

Performance fps wise is much better in 1.03 but why is it the game has a harder time rendering the Galaxy map than the actual game? Lol. Get 60fps in game but when navigating galaxy map it drops into 40s or 30s.

Always had fps issues with galaxy map, any idea why?

Well, to be fair 2.03 has some issues which need fixing, so this is hardly surprising. Anyway, I'm rather eager to see what has been addressed, so let's get those patch notes please. :)
