1 dog and 2 kittens. You will either get some dog food or the dog will raise them to be cats who think they are dogs, and those are the best kind of cats.

When I was a youngster our dog "adopted" some kittens. She taught them how to swim at the lake. It was quite the sight.

As for cats in space... this will end terribly.

We're not sure if it will be released as part of New Era(TM), or if it will be part of an update following Fleet Carriers. We do know for sure it will NOT be released prior to the FC release later this quarter.

The actual feature set/behavior is unknown, however they are "made for VR" and do come in and out of the cockpit area through the entry door which can be seen in VR (or camera angles). This indicates it might be a 'teaser' for Space Legs in New Era(TM).

I am sorry to say this but my cat and who have both played elite since it very first started will no longerplay this wonderful game if this isn't implemented in March.
We have talked at length about this and this our conclusion.

Hope it's not the only thing in an upcoming update. Should it though i'd be quite impressed by time and care dedicated to them.
