Needed Planet Coaster features that i wish you guys would bring to Planet zoo.

I'm not talking about roller coasters or anything crazy about that. However there are some features that i was expecting to launch with planet zoo that haven't been added yet. I originally posted it on the steam forums and i feel this thread is already going to get buried but its worth a shot.
1. A way to change Celsius to Fahrenheit. (I am a dumb American and i prefer Fahrenheit.)
2. Custom Music, I was really hoping that this would've been a launch option in planet zoo. I would just like to use my own ambience for some areas.
3. Custom Billboards, Another thing i was hoping to have been a launch day option. There is even already a folder to put in custom pictures to use in game.

Now 2 and 3 can be dismissed as they don't fit a Zoo simulator, however it adds to the customability to the game and to make it feel more like a sandbox.

Yep, custom signs would be nice.

And I still hope we will get this in Planet Zoo:

  • Vista Points for scenery scenes.
  • Restaurants
  • Hotels (I would like to build a nice resort of kind)
  • some special effects
  • Advertised destinations

Custom billboards and vista-points are two things that would really enhance the game at this point.

Never played PC but from what I've seen on YouTube I don't really think the custom billboards were that great. You can make your own textures, sure, but they're all 2D and never seem to quite fit with the in-game textures as smoothly as some people seem to think. I would really love the vista points though, that's a really neat little feature.

Hmmm perhaps. What bothers me the most is the lack of info signs. The vast majority of zoos only use small info signs and not huge tv's; and custom billboards could be the perfect solution to this issue.

you have zero power cost with the advanced tech (wind and solar). powercost are a component in the zoo management, otherwise you wouldnt need to research powersupplies. something has to use electicity otherwise the whole system would be useless. the education boards and speakers are a feasible thing for that role.

This only is true if the zoo is producing its own power and is self-sufficient. Not every zoo is. And I am in no way talking about getting rid of electricity in general. But electronical education boards all over the place, in places where humidity and huge temperature fluctuations are present, are simply not realistic in a zoo that is build in this ages. Plus, as I said, the maintance would be high. Most zoos have simple signs out of wood or plastic in their outdoor area and use electronic only in dry, most often air-conditioned buildings. At least in europe.

so then it is a problem of the electronic industry in real-life, they should produce more water proved outdoor-monitors to be in line with a computergame.

As you say guiding them around: Not sure if Planco had it, but it would be awesome if we could plan out a tour / walkabout people could do. At the moment they run around not really organized. Would be cool if some planco-people would choose the walkabout then and see all of your zoo.

And would make a lot of sense. Almost every zoo I've been to has a numbered route - so basically follow the numbers and you'll see the entire zoo in the most effective way.

I would really like custom Billboards. This would be really great for Buildings and themed Areas.

I've heard there are Bees and Butterflys in the Special Effects Menu in Planet Coaster. It's a Shame we didn't get them in Planet Zoo too. I hope this will be changed someday. I would really like to make something like a Bee-Garden or a tropical Hall with Butterflys

I think perhaps they might want to implement them as actual animals rather than effects. Would be nice if guests would recognise them as more than scenary.
