Found this peculiar, and fabulous looking planet
And look - SRV leaves purple thread marks! It also has a levitating rock...which I assume is a glitch. I don't run any reshades or any of that sort.

The trouble is that your SRV can also be out of touch with the planet's surface, either above or below. A log out to the main menu and back resolves things and only takes a few seconds, but I expect most people have discovered this.

Planets look pretty in pink.
