Enclosure Building Fails

😂 You need to let this Reindeer breed as much as possible. I want a flying Reindeer too🦌
 I can try to breed them, since it happened in my "Franchise-Breeding-Zoo". But I have to warn you, even though it's a Christmasus with all the festive spirit and stuff, it's still a very dangerous animal! Half of my guests fled in sheer panic just because one of these critters had flown upon the shelter's roof inside the enclosure.
I don't wanna imagine what will happen if one of these bad boys really flies away oneday! Watch out! 🚨

Lets play spot the escaped Snow Leopard......
On the contrary, your guests look pretty relaxed for the fact that a sneaky Snow Leopard is right below their feet.

Don't worry. I would build a big Aviary for the Reindeer 😂

I think maybe they are that relaxed because it isn't a adult Snow Leopard. You can for Example also have a Tiger Cub in a Enclosure with Peafowl without them fleeing in Panic

Not quite, they are that relaxed because he is hiding under a train platform and guests in queues do not flee ;) Just made me giggle at the time, the snow leopards had been in there a while no problem, there was a rail line which went through a tunnel which I thought would stop the animals (it worked for the adults) first thing the cub did was run through the tunnel and to the station.

Reminds me of the Lion-Escape a few Days ago. There is a grown male Lion running trough the Park and this one Guy is just standing there peacefully to read a Education Board even though the Lion was only a few meters away from him 😂🦁

I failed again. This Time I wanted to connect multiple Enclosures with Water-Tunnels so I wouldn't need as many Water-Filters as I need currently.
Some Enclosures got flooded, and in other Enclosures I wasn't able to refill the Water.

Grizzly-Enclosure: way too much Water (the Giraffe-Decoration marks the previous Coastline)

Wassertunnel2.jpg

Western Adventure - Bison and Pronghorn Enclosure : the Lake couldn't be refilled

Wassertunnel3.jpg

Enclosure for juvenile Crocodiles : the Water couldn't be refilled

Wassertunnel4.jpg

Western Adventure - Wolf Enclosure: refilling the Water works perfectly

Wassertunnel5.jpg

Buffalo and Warthog Enclosure : refilling the Water is impossible

Wassertunnel6.jpg

Lion-Enclosure : refilling the Water works perfectly

Wassertunnel7.jpg

Arctic Wolf Enclosure : refilling not possible (the Giraffe-Decoration marks the previous Coastline)

Wassertunnel8.jpg

Polar Bear Enclosure : not enough Water (the Giraffe-Decoration marks the previous Coastline)

Water-Tunnel

Edit: all Enclosures are like they were before. At least the Tunnels aren't completely useless now, because I wanted to have a big Cave where Guests can walk trough

I think I understand now what I did wrong with the Tunnels. I think it was because of the Water Height.
I really like the Part about Waterfalls. They look so much better than my Attempts to make Waterfalls. I don't know if this Method would be good to change the already existing Waterfall in my Polar Bear Enclosure because it isn't very big and I don't want to accidentally destroy the Form of it but for sure I will try it when I build a Enclosure for Elephants or Hippopotami

That sounds like something from the Curse of Oak Island :)

There are boxes in the way, that's why you can't fill it with water.
That's why you can't fully fill the Polar habitat.

And you didn't really fail. But placing water area's is the first thing to do. It's hard to change it afterwards, once all barriers, paths and scenery is placed.

It is possible when there are Boxes or they must've changed it in the last Update. But it also wouldn't have worked because of the other Lakes that couldn't be refilled and the Grizzly-Enclosure where the Water would've been way too much

Was never possible in my experience. Had issues with them all the time.

Any box that was to close to the edge of the coastline, it would never let you place water.

Yhe other day, I was releasing Indian Peafowl - way too many of them, and one of the White Males decided they didn't want to be captured, so he walked out onto the service path. Only time any of them escaped.

That's why I use Birth control on them. Hopefully I will not forget to let my best Peacock breed (100% of every Gene except one)
How exactly did he escape?

Oh, how did I not notice this thread before!
My biggest fail was the idea to decorate a part of the glas barrier with a log. And not checking the item was climbable. And there were lions in the enclosure. It was actually pretty funny, I got the notification and went like "ah, the dumb glitch again", looked at it and thought "oups, my bad". (This was before I understood that you can replace these sections between the glas parts with the wooden barrier and it looks just as fine.)

The second-best fail was probably a high tree close to the fence of the snow leopard enclosure. As long as I had a curved glass roof for the building next door, no problem, but then I replaced it with a solid and flat roof and the kitty decided to take a leap of faith...

At least it isn't like in my Ape-Dome where the Animals really shouldn't be able to climb out of the Enclosure but they are climbing on the Wood-Pieces and trough the Roof nevertheless and the Guests are walking out even if the Apes are still inside of the Enclosure instead of the Guest-Tunnel. I like the Idea of Logs in the Glass-Fence

LMAO. 🤣 The cub's just up there like "Uh...I can explain..."

And the people are completely unimpressed, probably stating "the view is just ok" :D;)

Yeah, sometimes they glitch through when there are climbable objects or trees too close to the barrier. In this case, it was entirely my "fault" :) And yes, I really like logs (or those thin rock columns) in the glass, too. There are wooden pieces that aren't climbable. And you can just select the small pole between the glass parts and replace it with the wooden barrier, saves a lot of time.
