Warning, do not have a zookeeper without a workzone if you use workzones!

I usually don't have any problem with starving animals or dirty habitats unless the animal numbers get's too high (usually around 40, 20 when it comes to peafowls and around 100 for flamingos). I always have workzones for all my zookeepers, for smaller habitats one that do all the work, for larger habitats two, one that cleans and one that feeds.
But today I got an alert that one of my habitats was too dirty and animals started to get sick. I used the call zookeeper button (yes, i know it's mostly useless when it comes to cleaning -.-), but both my assigned zookeepers kept wandering around, they walked towards the habitat and when getting close just turned around and walked away.
Turnes out I accidently hired a zookeeper that wasn't assigned a workzone and he was inside the habitat in question feeding the animals.... I had to wait until he was done (and three animals got sick in the process) and then fire him. After that the two assigned zookeepers came running and the one assigned to cleaning started cleaning the habitat at once.

Things like this is super frustrating.... why oh why does the call zookeeper button only work for feeding!?! They really need to change this or add another button so we have two, one for cleaning and one for feeding...

Yeah, always assign keepers to workzones, otherwise unassigned keepers will be drawn to the habitats (with or without intentionally calling them) quite randomly; this often leads to the problem that keepers far away from the habitat are assigned by the AI, not the closest one. Assigning keepers and keep walking distances to staff facilities are the best recommendations to overcome the flaws of the AI.

People, whether staff or guests, are simply not intelligent enough.
No matter how often I load my zoo, an animal keeper takes care of my mixed enclosure without a break (feed) Instead of taking a break when he's finished and tired, he goes straight back to the animal keeper's hut.

I click on the graphic, how much pause, inactivity or similar was done, it only indicates 100% work.

I hope that the next update will finally improve people's intelligence.

Feeding is also a disaster.
The unnecessary ways to travel.

Really, I wouldn't dream of that.
There is no system behind it, at least none where I can see.
No wonder if animals regularly starve, or at least are close to death.

Reminds me of this one Guy in one of my Shops who wanted to quit for multiple Days (Real life Time). After some Time I closed the Shop so he can take a Break but he just walked to the next Shop and worked again. Maybe the Brain isn't like it was before after more than 500 Years 🤔

I can understand keepers at the "trainee" level doing these things, but I expect more from my fully-trained keepers!

I also expect more from the vendor who I caught on the opposite side of the zoo to the shops (gift shops only, I gave up on food and drink a long time ago!) who was whinging about how far it was to the staff room. It was like... if you didn't want to be so far from the staff room... why did you wander this far away? You didn't need to, to do your job...

They should also add a better Possibility to create Workzones for Caretakers. I think I have enough of them. Everyone of them is assigned to a Staff-Building and they are still walking around in the whole Park which leads to dirty Paths and overflowing Trash Cans. I sometimes need to close the Zoo and bring them to the dirty Areas. I'm glad Refunds are deactivated until the next Update

Almost everyone is assigned to a workzone..
I've hired a few zoo keepers without a workzone and set them to only 1 task. (feeding or cleaning)

I have few problems, only when the habitat becomes too crowded and the high amount of animals need a lot more care (especially cleaning)

It would be easier if we could add specific paths to the workzone, but I doubt it is possible the way the paths work. I don't have problems with the caretakers any longer, though. I always put a whole area into the workzone, not only the staff room (f.ex. the habitats, the shops, toilets, staff rooms and solar panels). They seem to walk pretty much everywhere in the cluster and I hardly ever have trash lying around.
