A bit of what Star Citizen is like currently...

I remember a handful of offers for "pledging" when I first saw it. It wasn't easy to see whether you'de get something finished or "to be released" from the polished and shiny webpage. It also transported being a crowdfund effort rather than sale - it must have been after the kickstarter though. It kinda looked dubious. For CR I didn't really care - I wasn't a big fan of Wing Commander - I think Lucasart's Tie Fighter and X-Wing did it way better.

X-Wing vs Tie Fighter was my first ever flight / space combat game. Amazing for its time.

I lie it was actually Solaris.

The Carrack is the Anaconda of SC.
That is it in a nutshell (y)

It's easily the most anticipated ship since it's original concept.

My first flying game experience was 'Wings' on the Amiga...followed by F16. Got more into flight sims on the PC with Red Baron 2...space was Elite on a BBC micro in 1984.

XvT on the old Microsoft gaming zone back in the 90's set me off on the path...closely followed by Jumpgate.

Alright, but once they all get the ship, and launch SC, what will they do with it between two 30K errors (as these are just as frequent as ever) ? There is no exploration, and that ship may be a bit overkill to try and carry those small boxes for missions.
It's like these 890 jump posers, their best use is torpedo target practice to be honest...
