I hope to see more of these remastered Moon landing footages, this is the closest we will ever get to see real life SRVing on an airless world.

It’s true that the film studios have evolved a lot..

The imitation of the moon is perfect and confirmation here that the Americans never went on the moon.

If anything, I see it as confirmation they were there.

I watched the dust plumes from the wheels carefully. The dust would get chucked up, then pretty much fall back down again in the plane the tyres ejected the material.
In an atmosphere the dust would spread out more, be held in suspension by the air. Air flow dragged along by the frame of the rover would cause dust to also be dragged along in clouds, but that wasn't happening here.

Compare against an actual car, albeit this one is going a wee bit quicker.

However: Now there is now there is a little known film, called Operation Avalanche, which explains it all and before you simply dismiss this. Watch the film, try to watch it from the perspective of a 22nd century enlightened person, not a 21st century brainwashed believer, in everything you are told.

Here's some facts (feel free to disagree with any of these)

All moon landing conspiracy theories are always spread by those who never went to the Moon.

The Russians, who were also trying to get there first, were able to observe (ie they were listening and watching as much as they could given the level of technology at the time) while Apollo 11 went there, landed etc .... and they've never claimed the Americans faked it, and if anyone had motive to say so, it was the Russians.

It does not matter by now, what you do. Even if you took someone who believes it was faked, up there, and showed them, in person, beyond any doubt it all happened as claimed .... they would still insist it was faked and covered up. If you took flat-earthers into space and said "Look. The Earth is round!" they'd still insist it was CGI somehow. There is no reasoning with conspiracy nutters.

Last thing. Buzz Aldrin was there. And he's punched at least one person who said it was faked, so tell Buzz he's a liar at your peril. I believe he and Neil were there.

Oh dear. Me thinks you need to read what I actually wrote. I stated that there is no doubt, that the Americans went to the moon. The issue, is with Apollo 11.

Now this statement is just silly. Another fact to throw into the mix. More humans died, in the attempts to get the the moon, than actually walked on the moon. That is a fact worth stating. Not the 500 million+ to 1 odds, of humans that did not go to the moon. Who have made stupid statements.

The Russians, were dependent on basically the same technology and space telescopes and receiver dishes; as the Americans and the rest of the world. Look up, Jodrell Bank Observatory. No one, I repeat, no one, had the technology to 'see' the men walking on the moon. Not in July, November, or for many years afterwards.

It does not matter by now, what you do. Even if you took someone who believes it was faked, up there, and showed them, in person, beyond any doubt it all happened as claimed .... they would still insist it was faked and covered up. If you took flat-earthers into space and said "Look. The Earth is round!" they'd still insist it was CGI somehow. There is no reasoning with conspiracy nutters.
Two parts here. The first is basically supposition and conjecture.
The second has nothing to do with the July 1969 moon landing. Flat-earthers, are a whole new subject, which fall into its own case of Lunacy. Associating myself with such fools, is frankly insulting.

When voilence is used, the argument is lost. Or. If someone has to resort to violence, to answer a question. Then they lose all credibility.

Finally. Apollo 7. After Apollo 7, NASA made sure that no man, no matter how qualified or experienced, would go into space, unless NASA knew 100%, that man would follow orders, no matter what.

I am not here to convice you of the facts, just maybe change what you have been sometimes, led to believe.

Again if you do have any involvement in the industry ( to clarify here, I don't and I am in no way an expert) I welcome you correcting me, but my point still stands, do you honestly think you know better than experts?

Because surely, there has to come a point where you ask yourself "am I wrong?". I appreciate things happen that are so incredible that it is hard to believe they happened, but the simplest explanation is nearly always the correct one.

Just because something is a believe, does not make it a fact. A thousand years ago, it was the general belief, that the world was flat. (You brought it up) Or that the Sun revolved around the earth and people were executed for saying that this was not a fact. What you believe, is mostly based on, what you have been told. This does not make, such things, facts.

I would also say, that today, it would not have been possible to, fake something as big and public, as a moon landing. Simply because Mr. & Mrs average, also have access to so much technology.

You have basically said: Knowing what we know now, we could have faked the first moon landing, but those alive then, couldn't. That is like saying that the Egyptians could not have build the Pyramids, because they didn't have the mental or psychical capabilities. The fact is, they did and no amount of theories, stating that it was impossible for them to have done so, will change that fact.

This whole theory does not stand Occam's Razor test - remotely landing would have been far more challenging than actually piloting the thing at that tech level, not to mention a whole range of possible leaks that could have undermined this conspiracy in the past 50 years.

However, what's more important, most of us are not interested in debating a theory that is perceived a sibling of flat Earth and chemtrail.

Ok, Sorry about hi-jacking your thread like that.

Lunar Roving Vehicle, or LRV. Built by Boeing, (snigger) a 36 volt electric vehicle designed as a means of getting around, in a low gravity airless environment. The cost was initially projected at $17 million, but ended up costing over $38 million. Weighing just over 200Kg and could carry over double that. So two astronauts and all of their kit, was not as issue for it. Said to be able to travel, fully loaded, just over 90Km, with a top speed of approximately 13Kph. During the missions, they only traveled a maximum of 22km.

So how does it compare with 'our' SRV? As the prototype, it did very well. Each wheel, had its own drive motor; as do ours. Dust/mud guards proved to be an issue then and in elite and most of the rovers that have come afterwards, the dust guards have been removed.

As I stated earlier. With all the studies, be it with optical or radio telescopes. All of the orbits and the technology used at the time, to study the lunar surface, they still knew very little about it. It was only when they got there, did they find out, how abrasive lunar dust actually is. It is like finely shattered glass, sharp and jagged, due to no atmosphere to smooth and shape it, which then gets into everything and everywhere. What it does not damage, it seizes up and has become more of an issue, than the low gravity and lack of atmosphere combined.

So like E.Ds, re-buy screen, life support and a few other things. I think F.D. may have glossed over the many possible issues, with our SRVs, for game play reasons.

I hope this makes up, for me trying to explain, that the big conspiracy theories, tend to mask the little important facts.
