Herbivores vs herbivores

Right Now large herbivores can only fight with large carnivores or with other members of there own species but why not give them the chance to fight other large herbivores too.I would love to see some more matchups like triceratops vs stegosaurs or ankylosoarus vs chasmosoarus.i think it could work if both Dino’s are at very low confrort levels where they will either atempt to break out as normal or fight another herbivore in the enclosure.you can even keep the same attack animations they have and if frontier doesn’t want to add any new kill animations then they can just drop dead. Also of this can be applied to the small herbivores too.

Inter-species confrontations might be interesting, though a general territorial nature might be interesting for some herbivores.

Here in Australia there's these birds called Noisy Miners, they like to gang up and are generally territorial towards everything, though mostly target other birds. Honeyeaters are generally territorial I think, though usually against the same species.

Currently, all herbivores that can fight only fight each other when their social group is too high and when their comfort meter is in the red zone at the same time.

But, two species fighting or attacking each other seems like an interesting idea, something that I’ve been thinking of since this Jurassic World motion comic episode video posted on the franchise’s official YouTube channel below.

The only problem I do want to say is this though:
In the Claire campaign, on Nublar North, there are numerous herbivores packed close together in numbers higher than some of their typical population and (sometimes) social needs, and some of them can wonder too far from each other’s social group or fill the population need further up. Also, in the JP campaign, there is a group of Pachycephalosaurus on Isla Sorna in a population group higher than their standard needs because they are mixed with many other individuals of two other species, in this case are Corythosaurus and Gallimimus.

So if this idea does become a possible future addition feature, I wonder how they would be able to balance this out, so that it would be less work for you to do on those said campaign maps above?

Maybe it can be a feature to have different kinds of herbivores fight each other and it can be automatically turned off during those campaigns.

Well, how about turned off during those maps, because you don’t ever stay in those two in Campaign mode forever, nor do you ever return to them after you completed the missions on those locations (unless of course, you restart the campaign anew or load up a save made before completing them).

How about we let armored herbivores of different species fight when the enclosure’s population is too high. Unarmored herbivores are of course spared. It’s easier picking up a dead dino than having to tranq one running through the park as well as fixing a busted fence.

Agreed with the idea. But if applied, maybe either deactivate it in Claire's Sanctuary or just hope it doesn't happen there if you choose not to separate them yourself as Anky individuals from their herd have the potential to wonder off and mix with the Trike/Pachy herd on Isla Nublar North (which I witnessed happened during my own playthroughs) which, when all together, is a way too high population need for the Anky satisfaction. Remember, if too many dinosaurs in that part of the campaign die, you will be forced to start over.
