A Year of Anarchy In Colonia

Flying Cutter out, will ship the Vette. I recently got both these ships I have spent ALOT of time in all my others and these are the two ships I have been having a good time in. I'm still having fun messing around with the Vette and figuring what im doing with loadouts for PvE. I enjoy the cockpit atmosphere of the Cutter much more than the Vette so I think it'll be the nicer ship for the trip for myself, I will be doing some side exploration during the trip and while waiting for transfers. I get what your saying about flying it out, and if I wasn't currently in love with Cutter I probably would.

It's nice to ride in style. It'll cost me 14LY over my Phantom, but I'm riding the mining Cutter back to Colonia when I go. I just can't bucky-ball it and exploring around the way-points keeps me going so it'll take a week or two to get back I'm sure. I'll bask all the way home though. Now that I've had it's cockpit view, I can't go back to a nose-out-front ship.

After a very fortunate Hull Seals rescue (1% hull 5,000ly out) I made it to Colonia. Dropped 250m in exploration data with the Nameless. Now I'm just pottering around taking in the local sights. The skybox is so busy here after spending so long in the bubble and exploring the outer arms.

Gotta bag some bounties for one of the local Engineers. Any suggestions on where to hunt (or where not to)?

Ah, how the wild west calls.
I'm passing through soon (not soon TM) but here in a few weeks I'd guess. Havent decided how I will go back to my base in the bubble to make final preps. I might outfit something new and cheap in Colonia and fly it back or just get a sidewinder, get hammered and see what happens.
I'm either flying the exploraconda or the explodamamba back if I decide to move🤔

Yikes! That had to have been tense. Thanks for thinking of us with the data. Means a lot. :)

Hello Colonia gents, I'm out at Colonia for one week (unlocking engineers). My buddy hasn't the combat rank required to unlock Olmanova, is there a good place to do that while helping The Nameless at the same time ? Hope to meet some of you out there.

Thanks for thinking of us. As we are an Anarchy we don't have res sites or other fun stuff to shoot at the moment. But I would recommend a visit to the compromised nav beacon in Magellan. Once you there you understand why :)

I just finished the Colonia Engineers - just because I hadn't done it yet. Pretty much had everything I needed except the Osmium and the Nameless kills.

Be sure to get a KWS to go Namless hunting. It only took one day to do them all.

I guess I might as well go NS hunting before heading back to the bubble.

Any thoughts on where to dump the exploration data before leaving Colonia?

Swing by Robardin Rock and give it to the Nameless. Atone for your sins! Otherwise give it to Privateer's Alliance Expeditionary Force in Kioti 368. Good folk there.

So people know, Mel Brandon doesn't actually care where you get the bounties from. Doesn't have to be Nameless' freelancers.

Glad you made it, and thx for that data!
tips hat

Ignore whatever bull manure is in the description of that tinkerer. Go to Magellan, target the compromised nav beacon, and have fun (if you dare 😜)

There are lots of player associated factions in Colonia - pick one that suits your style. Most of them aren't as vocal as The Nameless.
If possible, place your donations to solidify the status quo. Nobody (ok, almost nobody) wants to trigger (another) war in the Colonia region.

When I was out there, I just went to Jaques and took some pirate lord assassination missions for the colonia council, since I needed to get my rep up with them for the invite anyway.

Hey Reapers, perhaps you could educate me a little bit, as clearly I've underestimated the amount of work it takes to help an anarchy faction...

The other day I decided to try something...and found an anarchy faction in a system nearby with only 1500 population...and they were unhappy, with only 1% influence. I figured with such low population, I'd be able to swing the numbers a little bit.

So I spent the entire day doing missions for these guys...and I kept track of the number of Influence+ points. I managed to get them about 100 influence points (no joke, this took hours and hours of smuggling and source-and-returns).

The next day I check, and they went up to 2%. I was hoping to see at least a 10 point swing. But it looks like my entire day of mission running did...pretty much nothing. This "upswing" to 2% lasted a couple days, and they are now back down to 1%.

Is this because of opposition? Because there are enough "massacre pirate" missions being done by people from nearby systems that I can't affect a change? How much work would it actually be to flip this station?

Also, the next day I noticed the No Look Here Gang lost control of the Pit a couple months ago (this is not the faction I was trying to help initially), so I did another day of mission running for them, for a total of ~50 INF+ points. Next day I checked, and there was zero movement (their economy state actually went down). So what's the deal? Am I just too small a fish to make a difference, even if I spend an entire day running missions?
