Help I bought Horizons and I can't play it!

I have played the normal Elite Dangerous for some time now. Had gone through the trouble of linking my steam account previously (it was a bit painful).
I just bought Horizons on Steam and wanted to jump right in but when ever I click on: Play Elite Dangerous Horizons (as launch option) it says in the launcher: GAME ACCESS NOT FOUND - If you have purchased Elite Dangerous or Horizons Season Pass from Steam, please log out and select 'steam log in'. It then sends me to this page: https://tools.elitedangerous.com/en/register?steam=true . Where I log in and it asks me to redeem my code. I did that a few times and each time I submitted my game key from steam which I had already redeemed. Of course it says that the product key has already been used. I then went to: https://www.frontierstore.net/ and tried to link my steam profile again(in the Partner keys section)... didn't work. It gave me an error saying: Steam account already linked to another account. - which it hasn't. I am certain I linked my steam account to that very same frontier account.

So it doesn't let me redeem my key, it doesn't let me link my account again. At this point I am desperate enough to buy it again but I am hoping someone could help me.
 
That "for some time now" may be your downfall. Frontier and Steam have been unlinked at some point last year (when Para shows up, he can tell you the exact date), so that you can't use a steam key any more to unlock a FD account any more. Might even be made more complicated if you bought your original game from FD a few years ago and only Horizons right now from Steam.

My guess would be that your best bet is FD support - maybe they can sort you out.

I just tried to contact the support but I changed my E-Mail at some point because I lost old one's password. So it gives me my correct new E-mail address on the frontier account dashboard page but on the "TICKET" it automatically writes down the wrong E-Mail(the old one). I would E-Mail Frontier Support directly but I don't know their E-Mail. Does anyone know it?

also I not sure how effective this may be at this time current climate considered...…………..
also you say the e mail and password auto completes (as long as you know all your passwords you should be able to disable auto complete in your internet options settings

They were saying that their settings on the account dashboard when they log in has their current email registered to it, but that when they try to file a support ticket, it automatically tries to send it to their old email they no longer have access to, I'm assuming without allowing them to edit the address.

Can you try this:

Log out of the launcher

Log in via Steam Log In button
