On 1080p? 720p should be fine
Ah, that's good news I think, maybe I was a tad pessimistic.
I was worried about the fact that OP's GFX has only 1 GB RAM, as I recall the minimum recommended specs were 2GB GFX card.
The GT 730 does come with DX11 compability, so on that front they're covered.
To be fair, neither the FDEV on support site nor Steam page mentions GFX RAM requirement, so GT 730 at 720p with medium or low settings might well be playable. Depends on rest of the PC though. :)

I used to run Horizons on a 1Gb GTX 750 and performance was fine back in the day (though settings had to be turned down for lack of VRAM) , there is a lass on here that used to run the game on a GT 730 with varying results, until she upgraded.

In benchmarks the GT 730 is about 10% slower than the r7 240 (the minimum recommended spec card on AMD's side) so it should run the game ok, certainly in space (though planets and larger stations may prove an issue).

Basically, the game will run but you will have to manage your expectations, the GT 730 may hit 30fps* in most locations, however, expect choppiness around large stations & planets, even on the lowest settings - that card is a potato after all.

* With a caveat, this depends on the version of the GT 730 that you have, there are 3. 2 equipped with DDR3 (a 1gb model and a 2gb model) performance on them will be absolute dog egg. The only version that will run EDH with any decent frame rate will be the 1Gb GDDR5 model, if you do not have that one don't bother playing you will be (more) disappointed.

I have the GT 730 and it runs fine on a tele @ 1080p! I have most of everything turned up, except AA and a few other odds and sods. Planets sometimes take a few seconds to resolve when flying low over them, but I suspect that's the 'net rather than the card. I have Horizons.
