Robert Heinlein was required reading when I was a boy
still some areas where ther is no "stay-at-home-order", and people still go to church . Interesting to say the least.
Kansas is twice as far from New York City as the Netherlands is from Northern Italy. When they were burning we were still going to church, too. Kansas is as close to NYC as we are to the Sahara Desert.
Why does it have to be either or?
They could also have been using the downtime to put her into drydock, as I imagine Daimen shipyards (which is one of the better ones in the region) is fairly empty at the moment.
An interesting map, showing projected odds of epidemic spread per county

Even counties that have few reported cases probably already have sustained, undetected outbreaks, a study finds.www.nytimes.com
Seems the virus is moving inwards from both coasts, with a central 'pillar' from Texas in the South to Montana/North-Dakota/Minnesota in the North where the odds are there is little happening (yet). Its hard to 'grok' the size of some of those states, curious if there are any odds of their neighboring states containing it?
What would a CAT scan be for?
What would a CAT scan be for?
How is it unique, SARS-Cov-2 is Zoonotic, so of course animals are at risk of contracting it, though I imagine you'd have to sneeze/couch in front of your dog, while cats would be more prone I would think, as they like to show acceptance by rubbing their faces onto your face.

Is a lingering of conditions like you describe consistent with the aftermath of covid? I haven't read much about people five weeks down the road recovering from a confirmed case. Sounds like you're worse off than me, but I'm comparable. Still weak and struggle for breath, moderate fluid in my lungs at times, initial sickness probably around the beginning of February. I've been hoping it was covid, no way in hell I could merit a test, but it's statistically likely to be the seasonal fluAh, the joys of a catch-22 situation. I'm into week 5 now, and my chest isn't feeling better in the slightest. I am, however, not even remotely at the point where I need hospitalization. Because I don't need hospitalization I can't get a COVID19 test. And because I can't get a negative test result I cant go to the doctor to investigate alternative causes, because you aren't allowed to visit your regular doctor as long as you have COVID19 symptoms.
Lol.
An interesting article discussing how the WHO carried (and still is) CCP's water for so long during the crucial, opening phases of the pandemic spread, helping the CCP spread their blanket of lies and disinformation that has helped to dramatically increase the rate of global spread, some estimates claiming up to 95%. Choice nuggets such as "there being no evidence of person to person spread" claimed by the CCP and trumpeted by the WHO as late as the 14th of January.
