Might want to take a closer look at what you're eating and subjecting your bodies to, gents, and maybe have a long hard look at why people in Scandinavia are sailing through this with relative ease compared to most other countries in Western Civilization.

The interesting thing is how quickly your body can 'bounce' back from that sort of eating lifestyle if you're not too far gone. I like to think my transfer from 'inner city, cosmopolitan living' (lots of takeaways and junk food) to a more traditional approach to food supports this.

The question is, are people are prepared to make that transition?

I'd say trying to make your own with no means of Quality assessment and -control, it'd most likely give a false sense of security.
You'd have no means to determine if your home-made product was of any added function or benefit.

Masks themselves are a false sense of security for those who can reasonably avoid situations where they'd be useful. Still, if one has seen something that is known to work, and knows why it works, a reasonable facsimile can be expected to do something.

Losing weight is one thing, but restoring lung function to normal after smoking takes a long time, and problems like atherosclerosis generally aren't reversible. Stopping bad habits is good, stopping sooner is better, but nothing really beats not starting in the first place.

From microscopic analysis, aerosol drying time was about 3 min, indicating that destruction of virus observed at 5 min is associated with drying-induced salt crystallization. Physical damage of virus due to crystallization was similarly reported as a major destabilizing factor of inactivated influenza virus

Ok.
The droplet hits and then dissolves the salt. As the droplet dries out, the salt crystallizes there. That physically scrunches the virions. In 2 minutes for the drying process.

All we need do is pull those droplets through a layer of actual salt. ANY contact will suffice to cause the reaction. Don't need anything superfancy, it's physical chemistry.

-.-.-.-.- mask material
OllllllllO salt and hot glue blobs say 3 mm thick.
-.-.-.-.-.-. Mask material

Whatever penetrates, hits the salt, sticks, dries, and dies.
That's why salted food doesn't spoil.

The real challenge is how to make something patentable out of it, not how to make it. Sent the links to the engineering team up at the University here. They are looking at polyester mat for oil spills as a filter medium, and brine from the desal plants is plentiful.

As usual, there's somebody already doing it!

I'd suggest anybody who wanted to look at this should probably start with population density.

For example:-

Iceland: 3 people/km².
Norway: 15 people/km².
Sweden: 24 people/km².
Denmark: 134 people/km².
England: 430 people/km².

Nah, you are confusing correlation with causation. The variable you are looking for is 'number of G5 masts'. Population is a spurious correlation, as the last year people have been mass-migrating to locations with G5 masts. Btw, did you know that the number of G5 masts per 100 km^2 also correlates with number of jumbo diet sodas sold per year? But you dont hear the main stream media about that. Makes you wonder...

Lol, great vid. I love how they 1) go all "woo, amazing!" at something that has been clinical standard for over a century without providing any medical argument why it is wrong (yes, you fill in the most likely cause of death on the form, that is how this stuff works), then 2) pull data out of their rear with zero sources or data ("Boom!" is, in fact, not an argument), and finally 3) follow that up with political propaganda.

Imagine watching that and thinking:"Yeah, that makes sense!". I mean, it is not actually dumber than "space lizards are invading us!" or "G5 masts are priming a virus!" but still. It is pretty dumb. More seriously though I am not even sure why people would bother to stoop to such depths. Even if you struggle to read CDC guidelines on your own, even if you have not even the most basic understanding of statistics, even if you have a burning desire to come up with conspiracy theories: surely a cursory glance at reality must surely make you realize just how stupid all of this is? Just how isolated must one's existence be to have them even consider the obvious nonsense of these premises? Do they really think the NYC hospitals are filled with crisis actors? That Italy is phoning it in as a service to the 'deep state main stream media libtards'? That the entire globe is in on some grand conspiracy that only those with next to no education can figure out?

Oh well.

Just came back from a call out, respiratory case. Had to wear my homemade junky gear. To say the least, it has problems. Visibility is bad, nobody can hear me, and it has a CO2 buildup. But the seals are airtight.

Got to say that the people using the proper kit all bloody day have somewhat similar issues.

I'll have to add a bigger exhaust valve. Tomorrow.

We're not allowed to use nebulizers anymore because of Covid 19. Of course we needed one. I klutzed through with injectables, while wheezing and clicking worse than the case. Ha ha.

I might be able to get a chunk of clear acetate or perspex to use as a window....

None of the house staff has any PPE, or has improvised any.

Yes sleutelbos. That's pretty much what I figured I'd get from you, hence my earlier comment of "sneeringly dismissive." If you don't see how drastically inflating covid mortality rates by rolling every possible death even remotely related to it can be abused, then I really don't know how to help you with your condition. It's not a matter of education at this point my friend, but one of gray matter. Please quit being so predictable:)

109 cases, 8 deaths cumulative totals
0 new cases again.
MOH announced increased community testing to start next week.

We might be out of the woods, bumping along the flatline. Police did a raid at a , um, place, and made arrests of a bunch of Venezuelan woman and their customers at an Easter Party, celebrating the religious event. Or the weekend.
That stuff is banned during pandemics.

Not to mention Sweden is a basket case because of their "revolutionary" approach to containment. They totally stand out from their neighbours.

Twitter founder donates $ 1 billion to fight Covid-19.

Jack Dorsey announced Tuesday that he will donate $ 1 billion, or 28% of his fortune, to a fund to fight the new coronavirus.

Here is an example for all the rich people of the planet who must now ensure the well-being food, medical etc ... of the countless people who work all year for them and participate greatly in their fortunes.

A great example to follow here (And finally it's normal).

Thanks Mr Dorsey.

Sure, I applaud that. But it leaves a somewhat bitter taste. Similar to when I watched Boris applaud the nhs.
(Further rant removed).
Blimey, it’s difficult not to be political in this thread! Thank you mods for being understanding!

That remains to be seen, it’s not something that can be judged or give balanced comment on for at least a year or more. Once the numbers have returned to normal.
If normal mortality rates are down over the later half of the year or even over the next couple of years then you could analogise that they have just condensed the inevitable and are able to move on and recover more quickly.
We shall see later

I was reminded recently of a book I had read and re-read multiple times, so here is an on-topic recommendation for you all.

The Coming Plague by Laurie Garrett.

I'm talking in a broad sense of lifestyle changes and how rapidly your body can bounce back if you're not too far gone, which is a positive thing to look at in these times of constant doom in my mind.

Of course your body isn't going to be on par with someone who's never done the damage to it that you have, but at the end of the day to use one of my favourite quotes from a (not very good movie): "You have your swords. I have my tricks. We play with the toys the gods give us."
