Update 1.2.2 out now!

I will definitely add the info on what is running in the background to the report I've made, and will post everywhere I've seen others reporting the issue requesting they add that as well, since I don't believe I've seen people posting that info so far. Is there a specific way it is best to get this info? Just a screenshot of Task Manager or is there a way to export all the details?
Screenshots work! Just make sure you add them to your Issue Tracker report!

Hayo! In a recent update, after listening to feedback from our community, we moved this notification to the timeline instead. We’re aware some players are unhappy with this, so we’re looking at a solution that all of our players can enjoy and feel like they’re benefiting from. If/when possible, we will share more news about this.
It is good that there should be changes again. Because in a large zoo this missing message is annoying, because the timeline does not always show the current, but is often back with so many animals with their overlays

Thank you, will do. I am sorry if I am coming across frustrated, what I'm trying to get at is whether I should be expecting a quick patch to fix this or if I should give up for now and come back in a few months.

You guys make a great game and I really am a huge fan of both PlanCo and PlanZo, and I really appreciate that you did put out a DLC at a trying time like this. PlanZo was helping me deal with the stay at home order, and when you guys do eventually fix the game I am sure it will continue to do so.

Have you ever heard of albino animals being impossible to get in a sandbox ? @Bo Marit

It's not impossible, it's just extremely difficult. You have to breed 300+ times to get albinos in sandbox. In a different thread Bo said she would pass on the feedback to the devs, so hopefully in a future update they will make it easier to get them (especially the black jaguar, which is what kicked the whole issue off).

I think the Issue is that it is possible but for some Reason the Offspring of these Animals can't have the Gene that causes the Color Mutation

Yeah, that's exactly right.

I totally agree that it must be difficult (though not too much in a sandbox where we're supposed to have unlocked everything). But as said above, it is impossible to make albinos with albino parents.

There is a zoo-file with 6 black panthers in sandbox not breeding black babies at all in the steam workshop https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2063429088&searchtext=

There should be some older tickets, too, because that's not a new bug. I reported it, too - but I can't find them anymore. Maybe they just got closed without looking at it.

If I knew how to send in a savegame, I would have done it already. sigh

Thank you for your answer. Hence it is change of design and not a real bug. I am very curious of why the community ask for this change, it is really annoying specially with large zoo when the timeline is filled with a lot of event and you can easely miss the info and end up with wounded animals. A check box in the option menu would have been a better choice.

No Issue Tracker report is just closed without our team looking at it first. It's closed when not enough fellow community members contribute to the issues, which is explained in the FAQ. This is why we ask players to link their Issue Tracker reports when they come onto the forums to discuss a bug their experiencing, so other players can contribute.

You're always free to ask if you don't know how to do something, I know that the community and the Planet Zoo team are always willing to help. For save files, you need to follow the path C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Planet Zoo\ and it will take you to your saves. To send them to us, just attach them to your email, which we ask you to send to community@frontier.co.uk :)

Adding ontowhat Chante said, when you send a save make sure to also explain in the email in further detail what happens and where at what location in your park it makes it easier for the team to locate in larger zoo's

As for closing tickets for not enough people to contribute: As you need about 1600 - 1800 tigers/panthers to get one white/black one in sandbox plus they don't pass on their colour, it doesn't surprise me that nobody or very few people ever contributed... Until it was possible to turn anything regarding animal-wellfare and death off, it was hardly possible to get any albinotic/melanistic animal in sandbox and given the reproductionrate of most bigger animals, most people just thought it was either not possible or that they were very unlucky.

Found a new bug today. When decorating a habitat, I found that moving a plant over different objects (like climbing objects in the habitat, buildings etc), makes them bigger and sometimes they just glitch out totally, spinning endlessly.

The plants to the left are the actual ones, the two to the right are the buggy big ones

I hope they will make it like EA and change this Bug into a Feature so we can change the Size of Objects. It would be awesome to make Plants smaller and bigger. Does this only happen since one of the last Updates? It never happened in my Zoo
