Solved - Galaxy map defaulting to a galaxy far, far away (from me)!

Each time I enter the Galaxy map, it now defaults to an adjacent galaxy; somewhere I have never been or have no bookmarks etc.
This happens after I have flown to other staions and relogged.

( I am in Ursitoare; map immediatley flys over to Sanguineous Rim!)

I could be wrong but until now Galaxy map has opened up where I am?

Sound familiar to anyone?

Problem (easily) solved!!

Just searched for any other system using the search facility, and it appears to have fixed my little problem.

I must have been perusing other galaxies on a previous session and ED remember it!

As far as I know Elite Dangerous has just single Galaxy, our own Milky way. Unless you mean star system instead of galaxy.
yup you would need a 2.5 million aprox light year jump range to reach the next nearest galaxy andromeda or you could just hang around for 4.5 billion years for when galaxy's collide

If you have any of the galaxy map inputs bound to your joystick or throttle and you leave something off-centre when you open the galaxy map, it will immediately run away from you, like if you have a non-zero axis bound to zoom, it will immediately zoom right in or out, and if you have your non-zero throttle bound to traverse forward, it will immediately run to the north edge of the galaxy.
