Thanks for the reply!
It really is interesting and it seems like we gotta add rides to the already long list of fast FPS killers as well :/
I really hope we'll get a bigger optimization update soon 'cause it seriously killed the fun and motivation for me and from what I see here and in different places I'm not the only one. Like I'd really like to play and have lots of ideas but then I'm reminded of the fact that after a few habitats I won't be able to actually play the not-even-close-to-a-real-zoo-yet park anymore and I'm just like "yeah, not worth it"
welp... at least they are releasing more DLCs for us to spend our money on creating zoos big enough in order to be unplayable and either rebuild or start a new one.
i started searching the forums to see if there is a problem with my hardware or what not... because i bought the game pretty recently (yeah spending 80$ on a completely broken game that cant be played the way its supposed to...) and when i started expanding my zoo , trading my animals and doing work..
then the crowds started joining the zoo in masses... my fps went from 70 to 10 with just over 4.5k guests. tried to change every single setting in game , made ZERO difference in fps and lagging what so ever.
tried to put it on high priority 0 improvement.
tried changing resolutions to the worse possible for me and my screen from 3440x1440p to 1920x1080 zero changes on the fps department.
changed the image settings from nvidia to go for performance instead of quality , zero changes.
i came to a conclusion that the optimization for this game is a crapfest.
