Discussion Coriolis.io Down?

Hello Commanders,

Currently I don't seem to be able to load the coriolis.io website. All I get is a Cloudflare error message (522) with "connection timed out". Cloudflare itself is working but the Coriolis host seems to be down. Am I alone with this issue? Has the developers of the site posted any kind of update on this? Thank you.

There seems to be surprisingly little discussion about this - I am concerned, as I have a half-completed ship build and all my plans are on coriolis.io!

There is actually an issue being tracked on github for this. It went down about a month ago due to hosting issues that were resolved within a few days with help from the community but it looks like it is happening again and, so far, there has been no response from the developer so I'm hoping he's OK.

He seems to be OK, he just replied to the thread a few hours ago. There are indeed hosting problems he's trying to sort out. Hopefully he succeeds.

Hey guys!

It appears the site is back up and running, although it is a tad slow.

I'm in the EDCD discord and will let you know if they have any updates.

Has the Coriolis problem been resolved? I found one link that sent me to s.orbis.zone which doesn’t work for me.
Edit: trying on iPad, cache cleared a while ago.

... works for me.

https://s.orbis.zone/6yxh is short link from a ship of mine. Please test if it works for you.

the github-site https://github.com/EDCD/coriolis

No, the s.orbis site doesn’t work for me on ipad (not tried it on PC, all my builds were done on my ipad). It loads but I get a blue linear representation of an octahedral station and when I scroll down (a long way) to see the detail it’s nonsensical.

https://coriolis.sourcebin.org/ works for me on ipad, but then I cant load in my saved builds

Sorry about that, but https://coriolis.io works and you can also download your current ship configurations here.
Did you ever try to load my short link? If you put a short link of yourself here, then I try to load it at my place.

Are these "old" configurations? I think you first had to export (json) them completely (no short version) and then import them again.

No. As I said, your s.orbis short link doesnt work for me; it brings up a blue outline of the front of an octahedral station with letterbox station entrance then nothing for ages as I scroll down before some gobbledook. The https://coriolis.io/ link brings up the blue station front picture, then I can scroll down for several page heights again before I see a list of ship types (it’s all a horrible dark shade of blue). When I select any of those ship links it brings up a load of gobbledook. There is no settings tab visible to do any imports. As I said I can’t export my old configurations as the original coriolis.io has stopped working for me. Github means nothing to me, nor json -I’m not a programmer. 🙂
