BGS - Any point in a single pilot trying to oppose 500+ cmdrs?

There is a a system called 69 G. CARINAE. Anarchy with lots of stations offering smuggling and lucrative illegal missions, the system is run by a pirate faction with a permit locked system next door.

A group called The Stumblingtroop have moved in, looking to turn the place into a democracy (what an outrage!) I take it nothing can be done to stop them steam rolling this system? This happened at reddot a while back, ruined the system.

Cheers

I reckon if you put out the call people would come to help.

I've tried in on two similar occasions and found it difficult. Whatever you do, there will be at least a handful of people doing the opposite, so you are bound to lose.

However, you can easily become a big nuance by doing guerilla warfare in their systems. I used a Corvette to attack system authority vessels, and did combat zones when they appeared in multiple systems. Never playing more then a couple hours a day.

Many groups will consider a truce for a single system as war is counterproductive for BGS. So give it a try, it's great fun.

However, police behavior seems to have changed lately. I hope I am mistaken, but I used to have minutes long fights with system authority vessels, and now Atr seems to arrive almost instantly.. Haven't been at it for a while, so I have to check, but that was the case in Beta.

I don't think anyone would bother for an anarchy system. It's just a bit of a shame really, take a look at the system, lots of stations, lots of missions, it will turn into a another bland democracy in the next few weeks.

It would be great if whole regions could be anarchy, the Coalsack nebula would be a great areas for an anarchy region, separate from the bubble.

Thanks, I take it you mean cause trouble once they take over? I don't really want to cause trouble once they are in power, just wanted to try and help the current controlling anarchy faction retain power.

I recently opposed a big player faction invading a system, choosing to boost opposing factions on a few systems, cause and win wars and assets changing hands. It went well in the beginning, got some wins cause they had many open conflicts and wars, most of them against NPCs I think.

But once they saw there was opposition and concentrated their efforts I started losing. Wars now can start right after a victory, so it became too much work, and I wasn't that much into bgs. But I was offered a truce for my home system.

I boosted my faction doing missions and winning combat zones. It works great on small population systems.

Loren's Reapers would disagree :p Then again we do NEED anarchy systems out in Colonia to be able to buy faction ships otherwise not available.

I take it FC's wont offer those ships? I never bothered checking what ships we can sell in Beta, didn't seem worth the hassle doing ship sales.
