Anyway, i hope the odyssey content will make it worth the delay after so much disapoinments about FC (i hate upkeep and tritium not beeing scoopable to depot ONLY).

That is called LEP (lifetime expansion pass). So yes, it will be free for you if you have that. Lucky you!

No I dont think anyone actually thinks that. I've sat through this entire thing and I dont think anyone's actually expressed any strong annoyance with people asking, including myself.

Right now almost nothing more is known. There is no info about whether there is an alpha/beta we can be part of, and if so, who gets to take part. A LEP is basically the highest tier of backing you can get, so almost surely if a beta is going to happen it will be open to you.

We should probably have the comment about the LEP Stickied or added to the opening post now that I think about it. I wouldnt know how to begin to ask the mods for that though.

Right now we really dont knowuch though, to be honest.

Hmmm. Very light on hard details. First Person Shooter gameplay, but no mention of if we can walk around on our own ship. Space Legs only interests me in so far as it links into the flight gameplay. Waiting to see how this pans out then...

Seriously though first reaction was "oh, it's going to be on PS4 and XboXone. Probably going to be a pretty low-rent affair." Definitely don't expect anything more robust, realistic, or technically advanced than No Man's Sky or you will be very, very, sad.

I'm sorry, do you work at FD? Do you have an inside understanding on what the heck was happening in their offices?

I don't, so I can't really say what happened.

Also, if it turns out they weren't doing anything for the game... I am pretty sure that is not a problem. FD is under no obligation to actually do anything more for the game. Read the ToS. No, an LEP is not a guarantee.
