Ships Over engineered Type 10

I can't say that it is my interpretation. Credit has to go to Down 2 Earth Astronomy it is the shield setup he uses on his Cucumber Corvette build. I simply like it I have played around with it in both High CZ's and Haz Res's. I have to say that with resists of 70% especially against Delta wings my shields just do not drop more than one ring unless I start ramming. even with absolute damage. it is quite game breaking, granted this is for PvE only. Then again the corvette on its own is game breaking.

This it my CZ corvette - 3300 MJ absolute values and i rarely have the shields drop to 1 ring. And when that happens i either let them recharge - bi-weaves rocks - or i pop a pair of SCB if i can't shake the pressure.
Point is, i can chain CZ without having to go to rearm. Sometimes for hours. Usually the R&R moment was when i was running out of SLFs, but eventually i learned to control and protect them better and now i rarely lose a SLF

That build looks oddly familiar 🤔
 
Indeed, but the design really is lop sided for PvE- there is no point to having 4K hull if the aim is never to drop your shields- but also that powerplant is toast without MRPs- 120 odd points is asking for trouble, one or two lucky hits and you are looking at 50% power, and two more and its game over.

To me its an all or nothing build- if you are not facing phasing (which is only in pirate lord wing missions or medium+ CZs really) then stuff more into the shield and keep it topped up- however the OP mentions CZs, and spec ops have nasty engineered weapons that don't care about resistances.

Back in the day I made something similar but in Corvette terms, and found high resistance (but low overall strength) shields to only be useful against security since they always ran lasers and MCs. But these days cops also have missiles and other funky stuff, and a lot more ships have PA (especially in CZs). Since the T-10 is not exactly spry its going to get pelted, so you need to chonk up one way or the other but not try to do both.

In the end try it- its not a lethally compromised build, just one that will need tweaking.
The lack of any MRP would have me concerned.
