Ran up ED in Boring OLD HAT, 2D on my Monitor.....................................AND HATED EVERY SECOND of the 2 mins i played it for. Reverted back to my VR.

Look, being honest here and Monitor only players won't/can't understand this next statement, But i honestly don't think i can play ED again in Boring 2D, and that INCLUDES Odyssey!!

Not entirely sure i will invest in it.

Terrible experience isn't it. I tried that myself when the information came down. I kid you not, I was unable to undock properly. I fly unassisted and therefore angle my ship to use multiple thrusters, being locked in face forward view obstructed everything. I'm not even going into the mess that was the landing...

10 minutes and I noped out. Haven't played since.
This news have completely sapped any desire to play and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Maggie, you don't even play in VR, What the Heck are you doing in this section of the forum making catty snarky remarks at us all? Do you get a rush out of misery? Couldn't you just go away and watch videos of kittens drowning or something like that and leave us in peace to have our conversation about stuff that frankly doesn't concern you?

Don’t worry about it, some of us went through it all on the Mac forum, there were always plenty of non Mac users in there giving some great input when it was being dropped

Wow I can't go back to The flat Monitor..Tried it..what a nightmare...Looks like i won't be part of the new update..Sad..VR has ruined me.

Incidentally, if you can't land FA-off in whatever mode, you aren't the pilot you think you are. Sometimes you have to fly on instruments.

You do know, right, that if you don't buy Odyssey you can just go on playing E:D Horizons with no change in the experience? Right? RIGHT?
