Always been on standalone launcher. Didn't buy via Steam. Clicked on the "upgrade" button 5 mins ago and seems just to be sitting on "Working, preparing for upgrade". I assume that means it's downloading but there is no download counter you can see.

Guess the server is under massive load too.

I used to get that too, that's why I converted my standalone purchase to steam. Much smoother upgrades now (even if I do have another 90 seconds to wait...!)

I'm in no mad rush, left my ASP Explorer on a buying station landing pad on purpose last night, part of "operation -block" , cause a queue to get into the station!!

That's a bit slow... mine didn't drop below 750! ;)
(I'm assuming it was the beta files being copied into place - as it is an M.2 NVMe drive, it is a bit quick!) Got straight into game with no errors either!

Wow. Well Sky Superfast fibre isn't living up to it's name!! Syncing @ 15-22 mb/s. Maybe all my neighours are secret closet ED players too?

Just hope they don't find out it was you who ganked them then 🤣
At least you know how fast you are downloading - Oculus version now updating - no speed markers and looking slow :eek:
