I cant log on either. It keeps doing various different things but fundamentally is just not letting me log on.

Yep , reckon you are right. Got to the loading screen, can see my ARX and 9b credits, and the sweet Midnight Black Asp Explorer, but wont allow connection to any of the live servers, only training.

I logged in after my 1st download, all was fine...
Oculus Update complete and same error as above "Unable to restore Your User Session" - oh well...

I think it's just getting stuck at various points with all the traffic coming in. Sometimes I get in and sometimes not.

Happened to me too. First jump took the game down now servers are toast. We probably all just happened to jump when the servers blew up.

Edit: well, I'm off to start some ribs smoking. Hopefully be fixed by the time I'm done.

I left mine at the main menu for a minute or so, and it found a connection. I clicked open play & got another yellow adder

ETA I can enter my ship but almost immediately get a yellow adder each time (1 sec or so). There is an issue with my connection to the transaction server, the problem does not appear to be at my end.

for anyone getting an invalid machine ID message in the bottom corner of the screen. on the launcher, click options and "log out machine" then log back in

Server status OK, probably a fixed text as servers are not OK for the last 20 minutes

From the Launcher, options, Log out Machine, then put your username / password back in, that might sort it

yup...my machine was deauthenticated with the patch. had to re-authenticate and that worked.

now i'm logged it, but launching to solo is troubled. i guess servers are overburdened.
