Look at the INARA commodities market for Tritium: https://inara.cz/galaxy-commodity/10269/

Right now, if you pick up 600 tons of Tritium from Smith Station in HR 827 (for 15k per ton), you can go sell it at Cherry Station in Daesi (68 LY away) for 71k per ton.

That equals 33.6 million per run. An engineered Cutter can do that in 2 or 3 jumps.

This might eclipse Borann A2 and/or LTD mining in general as the new money making meta....

Need some more eyes on this to confirm...

Yeah but how many trips is that back and forth to the station compared to the equivalent of LTDs? Sure mining will be much quicker, but personally I would find it annoying to do 10-12 back and forths to get the same coin.

No. Tritium appears to have infinite supply regeneration rate, so it can't run short and therefore get worse prices.

And most of the price differences are state-driven rather than demand-driven, so it shouldn't have problems there either - the top routes will vary every few days, but the concept won't.

My thoughts at first too, so I brought a cheap price scout ship to confirm. 15k price is legit.

As far as Tritium goes 600 tons of Tritium from Smith Station in HR 827 (for 15k per ton), you can go sell it at Cherry Station in Daesi (68 LY away) for 71k per ton.. WAY Faster to buy it, and use precious mining time for credits.. 1 small hold of 32 LTDs (32-40 million) will fill your hold of Tritium....
