Trading may have just become the new money making meta...

Engineered cutter
696t
no shields (now it's fun !!! )
2 jumps
38m profit
Look at the INARA commodities market for Tritium: https://inara.cz/galaxy-commodity/10269/

Right now, if you pick up 600 tons of Tritium from Smith Station in HR 827 (for 15k per ton), you can go sell it at Cherry Station in Daesi (68 LY away) for 71k per ton.

That equals 33.6 million per run. An engineered Cutter can do that in 2 or 3 jumps.

This might eclipse Borann A2 and/or LTD mining in general as the new money making meta....

Need some more eyes on this to confirm...

You both think to small. Don't have a FC yet. JUMP FC to buying station, fill up FC with 23k T of cheap Tritium in a 756t T9. Fly T9 and Tritium to selling station, if safety, 2 jumps. Sell all 23k T of high price Tritium.

I will give it a try tomorrow. Mucking about with Polymers Trading ATM. Any commander Pirates, switch to Solo. Simples.

Right now, buying at Mayer (5 Puppis. 3959 ls) and selling at Heinlein (Areklici, 1368 ls) is netting 71k per. It's an easy 2 hop.

I just sold 768 tritium in my cutter and made 54.2m profit. It's not the fastest, but I think it's the best loop running right now.

This dude has the right idea.

Finished testing 10,000 Tonnes. Buy price 42mill sell price 840mill

just parked my FC at a sweet spot for collection runs, loads of other FC here already too, can do a 756t return journey for FC to Station and back to FC in under 7 mins, @ 10k T of Tritium. Sell Station is less than 200 LY away, and they sell for 85k Ton.

Looks like i'm parked for a while now while i fill my hold with 23k T of Tritium. thats 31 runs , @ 7 mins a run, 217 mins, / 60 = 3 hrs 37 mins to fill , sell schlep time unkown yet, but a full 23k @ 75k ton profit = 1.725 B profit a run, say 9 hours of hauling including 2 x 15 min FC jumps out and back, roughly about 192m p/h.

Not bad for haulage work.

Tried this with my 420 ton anaconda just now - making 34 mio profit in 2 jumps
I like it alot tbh, something else to do while the game is a little wonky. Wouldn't mind if trading actually became good now

Well, given Black Adder errors I cannot buy a Fleet Carrier so let's go make credits.

704T cargo/combat Cutter. Buy Trintium 41k sell 77k.
3 jumps but fast stations arrival at 127LS and 477LS.
Profit 25.3 million per 12 min round trip = 126.5 m/hr.

No searching for lucrative passenger missions, finding the right asteroid or killing
pirates unless I want to. Just load up and go. Frontier will probably nerf it a little
later. The BGS could lower it. Nothing good lasts. Meanwhile I'm lovin' the new paintjob.

Enjoy

Normally, I'd suggest yeah, it should be nerfed a little, but while mining stays the way it is, it's pretty clear this is the proverbial in the river by comparison.

Now combat needs it's payday and we'll have some balance again.

buy in RBS 1843 for 5k
sell at Unktock (68 ly away) for 83k

7.8 mio profit for every 100 t of tritium
Do that with a T9 or Cutter and make 58 mio each trip.. 4 trips an hour?
230 mio/hr

Bulk sales tax/reduction will take a chunk of that... But worth a go!

I certainly hope so. I spent so little time just trading... i did it for alliance rep funnily enough. Missions dont count.

If sandbox trading is in range of the top that will be quite fun.

And here I am remembering my days of being excited to finally be able to afford to trade out my hauler for a T6.
Oh hi fren, long time no see.
Don't worry, I still remember the same old days but let's be real here. If credits were still that slow to earn, what would we do if we still had to grind for engineers after that?

This must be a bug as prices are static.
760t bought for 12.046MCr sold for 41.792MCr, last night and this morning !

Currently buying at just over 5k/T, selling at over 80k/T, 33M per trip. Sweet, at least my bank isn't suffering in this FC release debacle.

Almost had a coronary when I checked INARA, a carrier was listed as buying Rocket Tea for 334k and change. I dropped in and the FC's Commodities Market was barren -- either there was a recent coming to sanity or a glitch in market data reporting to INARA.

Current highest carrier price is 416 k per tonne, so if you park your own carrier next to it (as close as) and shuttle sell 25k worth of cheaply bought rocket tea , you could make rather a lot of credit. Do the maths , i did and its what i am going to be doing until its working as intended. Anyone know if demand on carriers is finite ? (25k tonne obvs, but up to that or is it set by the owner ?)
