Well say hello to 'The Sewer Rats'

Not so sure about it...Of course they know it's a critical feature, I am quite sure they are not just turning off VR in Odyssey because they hate us or to spite us, which is why I don't understand why people are complaining so much about it.
Ok.. uhm.. so where are all the other SRV's variations that were supposed to come after Horizon's launch?"Not at launch" means that it will drop at a later date. If it wasn't coming at all they'd have said "Odyssey will not have VR support"
It's pretty simple.
probably it was already scheduled before the trailer leak.Um... did fdev really participate in this show just to show the trailer that was shown last week?
Really? Who ever thought it was a good idea?![]()
I don't understand though why non-VR players are concerned about our protest.
Anyway we're not asking to delay Odyssey or we don't want to remove things from the game. This is not a selfish protest.
We're only looking for certainties and some clear official statement that confirms a roadmap and a time-frame for the VR support in Odyssey.
That's a good point, perhaps I've made a fundamental mistake and just assumed that some of their devs do actually play the game. Perhaps they should set up some beta tests for us players...Not so sure about it...
Do you remember the Universal Cartographics for Fleet Carriers?
When FDEV introduced additional services all explorers actually took it for granted... except FDEV! What does it mean? That sometimes what is critical for us players is not critical for the developers
All parts of Serious Sam VR disagree with that sentenceIt is great. Didn't try multiplayer with pancakers but I know it's possible.
I need a hand held sniper pulse weapon, some hand grenades, some explosives to plant and run away, plus all the other things soldiers get as well ...
(waves hand) This is not the game you're looking for.I need a hand held sniper pulse weapon, some hand grenades, some explosives to plant and run away, plus all the other things soldiers get as well ...
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder?I need a hand held sniper pulse weapon, some hand grenades, some explosives to plant and run away, plus all the other things soldiers get as well ...
It’s also got SLFs, EVA firefights, zero-G boarding of enemy ships, mother ship internals and atmospheric worlds. Apart from the terrible dialogue spouted by the main baddie, I think it was a very fun experience and don’t know why it got all the internet hate.I'm sure there's an edition of "Call of Duty" with all of those things.
Well I remember Universal Cartographics got added to Fleet Carriers after a massive amount of feedback, so not sure what your point is.Not so sure about it...

Ok.. uhm.. so where are all the other SRV's variations that were supposed to come after Horizon's launch?
And... where is PSVR that was supposed to come after the PS4 launch?
Not at launch is a typical sentence that is often used to "forget" what is not a core feature for a developer... and since the VR quality dropped in the last updates (missing orbit lines in the FSS and keybinds not working for the in-game ships paintkit preview) and considering what David Braben said in an interview some time ago that VR is a niche and it will never be the future of gaming, it's pretty understandable that all these things combined together describe a dark future for our favorite game.

That we need a massive amount of feedback to have VR for odyssey.Well I remember Universal Cartographics got added to Fleet Carriers after a massive amount of feedback, so not sure what your point is.
This thing about walking on planets and moons that are "untouched since time began", can only mean this will take place in a part of the Galaxy that is, at the moment, permit locked. Anybody want to hazard a guess as to which one/s it will be?
I read an interview with David Braben talking about these permit locked systems. He stated that they would be used for adding content to the game. So it crossed my mind that maybe these 'Spheres of conflict' could be in one or more of these regions. It was just a thought to get people talking about something other than VR in this thread. I guess it never really worked though. The flat screeners are still having ago in the VR threads. Ah well, such is life.I disagree. It just means that you will be the first to walk on an undiscovered planet outside Colonia/Bubble
