They've been listening to the wrong music
I've got over 16 weeks of continuous music ranging from 13th century plain chant to something I only bought yesterday. But none of those things stray into the world of "pop", which is the focus of the video. There is loads of modern music out there that is intelligent, full of depth and musical structure, but it never gets played commercially really. A joy to listen to, and I did enjoy the interpretation in "Master and Commander". They really should have made more of those books into films, certainly!I used that piece of music in a quiz I ran for some work colleagues. Not only had they never heard of the piece, or Boccherini, but they didn't even know "Master and Commander". The world is in a shocking state, I tell you.
