That is something that bothers me as well... Even the docking message is the normal neutral standing message, nothing like "Welcome Home, Captain" or something. Even friendly stations are friendlier towards you.
It's because they don't want drone carriers wandering the galaxy, they want CMDRs to be there in command as much as possible. If you want to remote refuel, then get an alt basic account (they were on sale last week) buy a T-9 and leave it on the carrier to transfer the fuel.

Would that even work? I have my alt on my FC. Your alt (like any other visitor) does not have access to your internal FC cargo hold... true - they can donate Tritium into your Fuel Depot, but unless I am missing something, I do not think it is possible
I have never had a network connected device crash my router, that is after 30 years or so connected to the internet. I'll not say it is impossible, just highly unlikely. ED has been less stable over the last couple of days and I've had 5 CTD with various snakes and the first Blue Screen in a year or so...
I'd still be tempted to say your router crashed a few (less than 30) seconds before ED did, but you were there and I wasn't

I actually did mining for about an hour in a local LTD & VO hotspot (single hotspots) and came back with a little over 100t (from both core & Laser) sold locally for about 80 mill. That'll do for another week or so

I heard that rumour.... never done it so need to find some victims.
They used to be around Agri stations, I think now it is refining (I'll check with the squadron and come back to correct if I'm wrong
) but I certainly heard about this recently.
