It is possible to get them in Sandbox but they're extremely rare. It's down to luck really. You'd need to set up a number of habitats and leave the animals in them all to breed for ages before you'd ever see one.

From what I can tell, it seems to match the same odds as seen in Franchise mode. Only, in that mode you have a whole bunch of players finding em, breeding em and then distributing them on the market. In Sandbox mode, where players are likely to be spending more time building stuff than say in Franchise mode, it's just so hard to come across any.
I want to find black jaguars but I've gone through hundreds of regular jaguars now T_T
yea im learning that the only real way to get albinos or black is to breed cuz buying them in sandbox wouldnt really be possible
