First class Python build?

Looking for a build for a python. With first class cabins. Having hard time what to make of a build with that.

Should i go for shields or not? And if shields, what shield type? An 6,5, or 4 shield?
How often do you get attacked when transporting tourists, aid worker, and such? Not them rich persons that want a sightseeing..

Reason for Python is the station is medium only landing pads. Untill my faction gets a bigger station, i need to stay with python..

Pls. any builds/links be appreciated.. And thoughts about what kind of passanger missions to do..

I'm using this Python in Colonia as a mission runner.


It's usable in open without problems, you can just switch the c5&6 cargo racks for passenger cabins.
Reason for the biweave is I try to kill as many mission enemy Condas as possible, and the biweave regenerates.

But you can also use a c3 reinforced prismatic or a c4 normal shield gen, should be safe enough.
 
In general when using shields, fit them depending on your ship's role/purpose:
  • Trade/Mission build: Fit shields that match ships hull in max. mass.
  • Combat build: Fit shields that match ships hull in opt. mass.

Never did any of that. Oh well, ignorance is bliss.
 
Just make a multipurpose python and replace the 3 class 6 slots with passenger cabins?

It does depend on the mission though.. because you cant stack anymore (commonly) the sightseeing missions become alot more interesting especially the 5+ rep / inf ones.. and for those you only need one passenger cabin, at max 2.. unless you're a little nuts.. or haven't tried multiples of those before.
 
Slight necro of this - also building a Python for use primarily as a tour bus, and what I'm facing is the pathetic range of the FSD.

Any non-engineering recommendations for improving it beyond the 7.X light year range I now have on this boat? I've unlocked two engineers so far, so I'll be working my boat with those two as I get stuff they want for the modifications.
