Cannot Connect to Frontier Servers

Hi All
I am making a new post as none of the fixes have worked for me. I have just bought this game on Steam sale and have not been able to play anything but tutorials. I am getting pretty close to asking for a refund.

It will not connect to Frontier servers and gives me the error message b3kkr54.
I have tried to open a ticket but they wanted some file for network or something. My internet works fine. Even Frontier launcher is glitched and doesn't display the whole picture. (I would upload screenshots but it doesn't want to accept them for some reason.)

Anyway, I would like to sink a good couple hundred hours into this game so a fix to this problem would be nice.

Never heard of that error code. Difficult to help without more context, Support is your best bet.

Seems unlikely - I never had to attach anything. It's probably optional, what happens if you ignore it? I would persevere with this after a cool-down break - the support people are great - once you get past the very annoying website (I know I spend a frustrating 30 minutes trying to raise a ticket last time I needed one when it kept sending me in circles.) Probably best to get that done today as there is probably a patch coming soon that is going to swamp support even worse that their current 7 day response time ... - open the Support ticket while randoms on the forum suggest increasingly bizarre solutions :)

Even when you think you raised a ticket check that you get a confirmation e-mail - it's common for people to think they raised a ticket but not have actually managed to.

Your pic is too large - make it smaller. But we know about the launcher image issue. Pics of what the actual issue is might help though.

Anyway - the game is worth persevering with - the install experience is often terrible, but then it gets better!
 
I have tried to a Steam integrity check. Thanks for your advice.

What does it say when you hit continue? I wouldn't worry too much about the 'cannot connect' on that page* if the options on the next one are orange.

(The b3kkr54 is an ID for your machine which Support sometimes want, not an error code)

* It's just trying to show the in-game news, it often shows that but normally after a few seconds the news appears - when there is any ...

All options except for training missions are white.
 
Managed to open a ticket after a rather frustratingly complex and long time.
Let's see what they say.

It seems like a nice community so far with people willing to help.

I had a similar issue, and the problem was from the network. If you have multiple network cards/adapters (hamachi etc) the game might select a different one and not connect.
So make sure that in the options menu>network you have the correct adapter selected. o7

I have tried to change the adapter but it won't let me. It's currently set to Wi-Fi.

If you just bought it from steam, then you need to launch it from steam and it's launcher. As of April last year, Frontier's launcher will not launch the steam version of ED unless one bought it prior to April of last year.
