Help CMDR Kai Zen turn The Wheel!

Hey all.
Just sending a shout out and reminding everyone that there is a massive community initiative, brought to you by the wonderful CMDR Kai Zen. In short? We are trying to increase the Dark Wheel's presence in the bubble. This is primarily to test and see if The Dark Wheel is pre-programmed for something bigger, but at the very least to help expand their footing, none the less.
Refer to the good commander's original thread for more information. There are regular updates with where they are at and where to focus efforts.

The information can seem a little overwhelming, but even just selling cartographic data, commodity trading and doing missions for them is a big help. If there's anything you sell/ trade to TDW, be sure it is done so at one of their two planetary bases in Shinrarta and not Jameson Memorial, as the latter will only benefit the Pilots Federation and for reasons outlined at the above link? Might not be the best idea, since the ideal result of all of this would be to ultimately stamp out The Club.

Is the general thinking that expanding the Dark Wheel will trigger expansion into some permit locked system, that will then become unlocked.... and then.....

Don't make me be the a-hole who says it... ;P

However? The worse case scenario is roleplay and community participation. Not unlike HOTMESS, except I think this should be promoted as Operation Turn The Wheel, since, the outcome, hopefully, has much larger impact.

Good luck.
There was an effort to do this early in the game even before it was so easy to cheese an Elite ranking in a few hours.
There’s just too much traffic at Jameson and TDW locations are that much further away.

There are a number of compelling story lines that make this worth investigating. If you look at the thread (see OP's post for the link), you'll see that it has grown long. There's lots of good reading in there. I can suggest starting at the beginning for the initial announcement and some of the subsequent back and forth; then proceeding to what's now near the end (approx page 34) and perhaps post #675 in particular if you'd like to get a taste of what's happening in the lore.

Don't let me make you think that there's not lots of interesting things in all the pages that I skipped - that's not true at all. You can use that material to learn more about the lore, to learn more about BGS, and learn more about what players are doing and the contributions they're making. You can be assured that players from all levels and inclinations of gameplay (you know: what you like to do and what you're good at) will help this achieve <whatever it may achieve or whatever may be revealed.>

This initiative is going to take some time, so I think there's little worry, if you're on an expedition right now for example, that you'll be left out if you want to participate.

Perhaps the coolest thing about this, imo, is that it's player-driven, emergent game-play. We* are stirring up the sand in this galaxy-sized sandbox called Elite Dangerous. We're not following a scripted story or something that somebody has written. Let's poke the darkness and see what's revealed, CMDRs!

* "We" can include you, if you want it to, CMDR.

Well said!
I mean I'm finding that it's the participation that is the most fun. Even if nothing comes of it at all. I would still love to see TDW flourish.

I'm still kind of intent on experimenting with the old Sap-8 containers. Once linked to and important to the Dark Wheel, before being seemingly removed from the game, then mysteriously brought back. I was there when they were removed from the game, but had no idea they had returned.
I kind of want to see how many I can wrangle up and sell to the Dark Wheel's black market. The same with the Trinkets of Hidden Fortune, which I am in the position of grabbing, seeing as though I am coming back form Kepler's and have my carrier rearing up on Seagull and Thor's Helmet nebula.

While I think this effort to get the Dark wheel to expand out into the Bubble is a great community focus. I can't see how this plays into FD's statement that the way to RAXXLA is a journey all pilots have to take.
This implies to me that it will not be a team effort that will reveal any path to RAXXLA.
What the hell this individual journey is that has eluded every single pilot for the past 5 years, only DB/God knows!

Fly safe
CMDR Q!!!!
