I'm looking to buy the cobra MK IV. I bought Horizons back on steam on 25th December and I've been looking around stations and I can't seem to find it. Am I missing something or what? I'm pretty sure I am eligible for it.

I thought purchasing Horizons was enough, I bought it on the 24th December so no idea if I am then not eligible.
The Mk4 is only available to players who bought Horizons while it was a standalone product when they already had the base game.

Turir. First station in. About 47ls from the star. Brooks...Terminal, maybe. But its definitely Brooks something. This is an Empire station, high tech, with lots of outfitting options. Also has Courier, Vulture, Cutter and Clipper, and both Asps, usually with full outfittings for everything below size 5 and even some of that.
Honestly, though...its a terrible ship. Really bad. Sure the small hardpoints are better positions. And it has one extra.
But its slower, less agile, has less power and less acceleration than the MkIII. Honestly, unless you just want the novelty, dont bother. Its a really crap ship. I bought one thinking it would be a nice upgrade from the MkIII...and sold it 30 minutes later for another MkIII.

Like Shadowdancer said, you definitely bought Horizons in the right time, but only would be eligible for having access to Mk.IV if you owned the base game previously. If you bought only Horizons without previously owning E: D then you don't have it.
To OP. Back when it first came out I got one at either Lembava or Diaguandri for 15% discount.
It was 100% in one of those two stations. Alternatively use one of the following tools:

If you can't find it where it has been reported you may not be eligible as above. If you have Founders world access (elite ranked) you can be 100% sure by visiting there, they stock everything.

New accounts cannot have the COBRA mk4, because is a tribute blá, blá, blá, no sense,
Fact is that in a game that has only ships, you can't have this ship because FD decided so.
Of all the stupid things that happen in this game this is one of the most absurd.

Yeah I'm a newer player and I just spent the last hour flying to stations near Lembava that are supposed to have the Cobra Mark IV...
Finally Googled the right question to find this. Fine if you want to discontinue a ship or whatever but make it clear that it's unavailable then, sheesh...

Pretty sure you qualify, because you received Horizons for free, and the Cobra IV was a reward for advance purchasers of Horizons, assuming you are on PC. Not sure what was arranged for Xbox and Playstation.
