General Credit Situation is completely horrible.

I’m a bit upset about the current money situation. I play so much of this game and in no way will ever be hurting for cash in game. But you guys just released a 5 billion credit vessel that everyone wants and you want to take away the only credit grind we even have in the game by nerfing the markets. I have one question. Does anyone at fdev even know what it takes to make 5 billion credits in your game?
Fdev you know I am always ready to defend you but this action is quite undefendable and at a time when we have far more other things that need fixed and worked on. It’s a waste of your time and focus and a slap in the face to all the people that want to keep playing your game and getting their friends into it. Even heard about a bunch of preorders for odyssey getting canceled. Hope to see 1.7’s on the purchase list soon. This is just bad for all of us. Not too mention those who spent the last few weeks filling up fcs at 1.3 and above. You really hurt the most active people in the community.
So my suggestion? Bring back ltds for 1.7 so those who still have a grind ahead of them either way won’t have such a grind. Or make other things in your game worth way more.

All they needed to do was remove LTD from SSD until they found a way to fix the exploit. That would have sucked, but wouldn't have crushed mining the way they did.

Combat, especially AX combat. Need reward increases. 15 mil per hour for a fully engineered ship that you may lose is a slap in the face compared to an unengineered ship making 10x as much, risk free.

Don't despair! You can still make serious money - Cr 175 m/hr or more - laser mining in a double Painite hotspot.

And Sirius Atmospherics will give you Cr 90 million/hr in the right ship.

Remember Fleet Carriers are meant to be endgame content. You have to expect it to take you some time to get - not full-time if you value your sanity.

But I do think that when Frontier want the nerf bat wielded they hire a drunken chimpanzee to do it.

The problem is that the game crashes repeatedly when playing in a crowded system for console players.

We get shafted when trying to tritium trade, mine the triple LTDs (now double painite rush), or the top sell systems for either commodity.

I have been error code mauve addered in these busy systems for up to 2 hours of trying to log in.

If there was more balance. The player base would be split up, and enjoying what they want. Many players performing the same gold rush at once is not the way Fdev should be doing it.

Don’t despair? You realize how many billions CMDRs lost over night? And you know those players are the most active players in the game. Hell they already own fcs. I’m not sure you are upset enough. And besides, I already have 100 billion. The complaint wasn’t for me. It was for new players.

I really think that was other bugs that needed to be worked out. Not a reason for a credit nerf. I guess I could be wrong with the way I’m looking at your line of thinking. At least with the game crashes and flying rainbow ships.

Sorry OP, I have FC, but my money are from other game activities (trading, missions/passengers, combat) without use of any of previous gold rushes ... this game offers enough money if you know how it works and where/when do something. Defending pre-patch state when cmdrs were able get 5B in 2 days from mining is crazy ... btw, I rised my finances up by 5B this year (from 6.8 at 1st January to 11.8B) when prepared for FC release and I have approx another more 1B after were FC relased ... this game literally throws on you money from all sides :) (there is only problem if is one blind with "old" mining incomes and do not know anything else)

100 billion? i feel sorry for you.
Awe thanks. I don’t really like pity but I’ve been disabled for about 18 years. Its nice to know some people still care. I just can’t leave my house all that often so I spend a lot of my time helping new people play the game. I know it sucks but I don’t have many options. Thanks again. I guess you must’ve known something was up when I said 100 billion huh? Nice guess

New players aren't the ones in mind to be getting fleet carriers that quickly. It was obviously a bug. It isn't even game at this point when you get currency like it's toilet paper. What's the point of them even pretending it's multiplayer anymore?

I did mix arguments and can see how I made it confusing. The veteran players will make back their billions. Yes, a complaint but still not the main issue. The issue is new players trying to build up their stuff from a sidey. And it wasn’t a bug. It’s literally still effecting all markets. People should take a look before responding.

Agreed, so mining needs the chimpanzee to get busy with the nerf bat still.
Mining is virtually no risk, should be virtually no reward, imo 👍

I’m really on board with that. Always thought it was something that should be done. Just simply thought my argument that mining and commodity markets shouldn’t be nerfed too was enough of a battle. I think all should be reworked and pay according to difficulty. I was trying to keep what we had already but I’ll take more. Lol

You should think twice before you patronize someone . You don’t know anything about OP’s personal situation/life, and it turns out he/she is disabled and don’t have many options (post #11).
Oof. I thought he was serious. Guess I should known better than to think the best of people. I guess I thought it was pretty obvious that I would have issues with my mention of credits. But I can also see why people might think I’m just a kid living in mommy’s basement too. No offense taken. He really couldn’t have known.

Messing with Tritium mining and more so, supply prices and availability was a real low blow by Frontier.

They stated the mining part is a bug, but nothing about prices going from 4k to 40k overnight, plus supply disappearing.

So enjoy the carriers they sold us, along with their fueling and upkeep. Manageable till people have bought carriers and their associated store stuff, problematic now. Ridiculous..

Somebody that either knew this stuff or actually looked at it before coming to talk to me. Thank you sir. Your are a gentlemen and a scholar. Still wondering how some of these others said everything was fine. Must’ve not seen the whole situation. O7
