Sure. But it dramatically and quantitatively (just check the PC Trade Leaderboard!) illustrates a broader problem with Fleet Carriers - profitable trade transactions having side-effects as a result of the profit quantity is not compatible with a device which lets you set arbitrary transaction profits. The "Hydrogen Bomb" version of this incompatibility apparently makes a pretty decent BGS attack.
The really big cash exploit with this - wing trade bonuses - was reported and patched out in Beta 2 ... but not by fixing the far more fundamental underlying issue, just by making wing trade bonuses not work on carriers. Frontier really need to address the underlying issue.

Interestingly, the squadron which was making heavy use of this on the trade leaderboard to get a score 100x plausible now no longer exists.
A couple of others which appear to be using it to fake more plausible scores are still about, but who knows for how much longer.

I have my gold exploration bobblehead as my 10th bobble, with the free Thargoid one as my 1st, with the Planet set 2nd - 9th (Earth still rotates wrong way in the 34th century
).They all look decent as a set & on display in all my Ships.
Basically this. Funny enough that there was an official event to race to triple elite upon the release of the game. You even got like 100 pounds for being the first or some other nice prices. Now that would be a joke of an event.

I am bringing this to light so maybe one day FDEV will see how toxic it is for the community.
This needs to go, honesty. So if we get everyone who wants to use it t and this may cause a commotion. And it will most likely and Fdev will be forced to deal with it.
Theres already squasdruons using this and or will use it slowly but surely.
ON ps4, theres a squadron called Wakyria's Order who one day 2 dropped over 15 Billion credits..
With the mining nerf, that shouldnt be possible for a small group of players, the to go to 18 billion in just 2 hours...

Remember Frontier replaced a handful of people in the company, This is showing that Fdev is finally getting off their ass and making moves on Elite.

Do FC pay trade bonuses? If yes, where do those credits come from?
It becomes a cash generator pretty quickly if they do pay bonuses and they come from the ether. May try it with a couple alts on my FC later.
If it works as a cash generator, they are likely to fix it sooner rather than later. As it is, I suspect it has a pretty low priority.

I get your point, but I'm not sure that 99% of the playerbase give a monkeys.
If someone wants to waste their game time doing this, they probably deserve a badge for being the most dull and anal person in the game. I certainly wouldn't give a gonad.
Wing trade bonuses? They did in Beta, and yes, the bonuses came out of the ether. It was reported and fixed.
(There was also in Beta an infinite money exploit with outfitting/shipyard services, which is why the tariff no longer applies to those)
They'll be back shortly to complain about FD forcing them to grind.
