Newcomer / Intro I'm fed-up and I'm going home.....to Colonia.

I've been back in the bubble for a few months after quitting Colonia because of the carrier grid-lock and now the bubble is just as bad.
I really have had enough! I made my home in Colonia and tomorrow night I'm going back, away from the madding crowd.
If anyone is interested, the carrier I'm hitching a ride with is leaving LFT 926 at 02.00 tomorrow - Black Hole Generator (X7G-61Z).
LFT 926 is like Heathrow - there are carriers all over the bloody system.

I find it really funny in an ironic and kind of hypocritical way that to protest against carriers and running from them, you are using one as a taxi. :LOL:

Maybe it would have been better if you took a peaceful stroll to Colonia at your own pace and enjoyed the 99.999% of the galaxy that ISN'T infested by carriers. :)

If you really hate carriers so much, you should fly to Colonia the old fashioned way rather than hitching a carrier... Just sayin' :p

I've flown there and back a few times and I don't "hate" carriers - I just think that there are too many of the bloody things! :cool:

Never mind - the novelty will wear off soon and everybody will want their money back.
Early next year, aka Christmas 2021, you'll be able to buy Odyssey and go mining with a pick and shovel.

You're making Odyssey sound way cooler than it's going to be.
I'd take the pick and shovel over a generic FPS version of disabling planetary bases any day.

I may be missing something... you moved away from Colonia because it was too crowded but now you are moving back to be away from the "madding crowd". Aren't they still there?

My PC is slowing down with the lag caused by all the carriers in some systems and I can't land on some engineer locations in the bubble.
I have a lot of ships in the Colonia region and I prefer the systems around Colonia which suit my purposes more. I admit that I left in a huff
because of the carrier infestation in Colonia when they were introduced into the game, but I can't stand the frustration of staying in the bubble.

Yes, Tyres it is probably still overcrowded in Colonia but I will find myself a nice quiet system and stay well clear of the congested systems out there.
