Help with Minning Please!

Hello Commanders!

Returning player been away a few years...looking to take out my tricked out Pithon do do some minning! Question is how do I maximise this activity for fun and profibility these days?!
Any suggestions on locations for painite for example (is that even a thing anymore?) Also a question I have is does minning provide you with engeneering materials? Also also how in the heck do you fill your cargo with limpits now???

Painite - ye...r/eliteminers
Maximize - nohow in fact, they just "fixed" all known maximizers yday.
Engee mats - no

This is a quick tool you can use to find selling stations. It might not be very accurate because of recent updates. Remember to sell you cargo at ports that have a demand at least 10 times higher than what you have in your hold or it will significantly reduce the selling price.

LTD mining is dead in the water and I think it will be for a long time. Painite is where it is at. Hyades Sector DB-X d1-112 2 Ring A is right in the bubble with a double hotspot. Target the hotspot closest to the inner ring (still between the two hotspots) and try to come out of hyper at around 2.55Mm, then mine towards the locked up hotspot. Took me 45 minutes last night to fill a 200t Python. Happy mining.

Also, just curious. If you guys mine at this spot can you post your best yield? 63% was my best last night and my LAST limpet.

Public holiday states last up to 48hrs...
Demand for painite last per 24hrs cycle when the tick can increase, decrease or leave the demand value the same...
So as public holiday was found on first day it remains..
