Animal Textures

My animals all look "smoothed," and "blurry." To put it simply, they look bad. I know this isn't how Planet Zoo animals look in general, and animals in every screenshot of the game I've seen look really nice. How do I fix them? It's also plants, buildings, and building pieces. I don't have a great PC for gaming, but I still can get the lighting, grass, shadows, and reflections to look incredible. How do I fix it? Can it be fixed? I've played around with the graphics settings, but it doesn't do a thing to the animals, just the aforementioned details.

Has it always been like that? Mine were beautiful until I loaded the game through GeForce (trying to use the photo filters). The settings all got turned super low and everything looked smooth/flat/low poly.

Ah ok. I have no idea about computers, but my textures for everything were always bad until I got my new laptop, with a great graphics card and higher RAM. You could buy a better one of either of those?

My specs:
HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop
Model: 15-cx0154TX
Intel Core i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz
8gb RAM
64-bit
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
Intel UHD Graphics 630

I run the game on ultra, even though GeForce turns my settings down if I choose to optimise. It runs smoothly for me but I don’t have a massive zoo yet, though I have lots of pieces. My laptop gets crazy hot and sounds like a jet plane though.

Could also be your graphic card setting in Windows (Like: energy saving options sometimes gives less performance on that front)

I had this same exact problem and will be more than welcome to help you!

My computer is probably just as bad as yours (i3 3320, NVIDIA GT545 8GB RAM) If not worse. The solution for me was GeForce Now. Paulsley has a video explaining it so I would recommend checking that out. It has a free version and a payed version. The free version has some drawbacks such as waiting to play (up to hours depending on the time) and only 1 hour sessions. The paid version (the one I have) is only $60 for an entire year ($4.99 per month) and it’s the best $60 I think I’ve ever spent! You can play for up to 6 hours at a time, play whenever you want, etc. This system does rely on your Internet Connection but if you’re like me and your internet connection is trash, I would recommend using an Ethernet cable. I can play on High difficultly no problem. Hope this helps!😀

Don’t go out and get an expensive graphics card until you try this!

Thank you! I tried it free, and it works great! I've already upgraded to the paid version. Small lag spikes, but that's about it. Finally, I have detailed animals!
